4. Setup and Charging

4.1 Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge the BOOKOO Q6 jump starter. Connect the provided USB A to USB C cable to the jump starter's USB Type-C input port and plug the other end into a suitable USB power adapter (not included). The LED display will show the charging progress. A full charge typically takes approximately 4 hours.

4.2 Checking Battery Level

Press the power button on the jump starter to view the current battery level on the LED display. Ensure the device is sufficiently charged before attempting to jump start a vehicle.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Jump Starting a Vehicle

Follow these steps carefully to safely jump start your vehicle:

1. Step 1: Ensure the jump starter is adequately charged.
2. Step 2: Insert the blue plug of the jumper cable into the jump starter's EC5 port. Ensure a tight connection.
3. Step 3: Connect the red (+) clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's battery.
4. Step 4: Connect the black (-) clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the vehicle's battery.
5. Step 5: Once connected, the indicator light on the jumper cable will turn green, indicating it's ready. If the battery is extremely low, you may need to press the "Boost" button on the jumper cable block for a few seconds until the green light illuminates.
6. Step 6: Start your vehicle's engine.
7. Step 7: Once the engine starts, immediately remove the jumper clamps from the vehicle battery, then disconnect the jumper cable from the jump starter.

5.2 Using as a Power Bank

The BOOKOO Q6 can charge various portable electronic devices:

• Connect your device's USB charging cable to one of the USB output ports (USB-A or QC 3.0) on the jump starter.
• The jump starter will automatically begin charging your device.
• The USB Type-C port can also be used as an output to charge compatible devices.

5.3 Using the LED Flashlight

The built-in LED flashlight has three modes:

1. To turn on: Press and hold the flashlight button for a few seconds.
2. To cycle modes: Briefly press the flashlight button to switch between Lighting, Strobe, and SOS modes.
3. To turn off: Press and hold the flashlight button again.
