Important Safety Information

Setup and First Use

Operating Instructions
Follow these steps for safe and effective operation of your slow cooker.
- Prepare Ingredients: Place all desired ingredients into the ceramic inner pot. Do not overfill; ensure there is at least 1 inch of space from the rim.
- Place Lid: Cover the ceramic pot with the lid. Ensure it is seated properly.
- Plug In: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
- Select Cooking Mode: Turn the control dial to your desired setting:
- LOW: For slow cooking over a longer period (e.g., 6-8 hours).
- HIGH: For faster cooking (e.g., 3-4 hours).
- WARM: To keep cooked food at a serving temperature. Do not use for cooking raw food.
- Cooking Process: The indicator light will illuminate when the unit is powered on and a cooking mode is selected. Avoid lifting the lid frequently, as this releases heat and extends cooking time.
- Finish Cooking: Once cooking is complete, turn the control dial to "OFF" and unplug the unit from the wall outlet.

Care and Maintenance
Cleaning:
- Always unplug the slow cooker and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- The ceramic inner pot and lid are dishwasher safe or can be washed by hand with warm, soapy water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that may scratch the surface.
- Wipe the exterior of the heating base unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the base unit in water or any other liquid.

Storage:
Store the slow cooker in a dry place. You can store the lid inverted on the ceramic pot, and the ceramic pot inside the base unit to save space.
