5. Setup
Battery Installation
The Project Nursery Portable Sound Soother requires 3 AAA batteries (not included).
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the unit.
- Using a small screwdriver, loosen the screw on the battery compartment cover.
- Remove the cover.
- Insert 3 AAA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover and tighten the screw securely.
The top of the sound soother features control buttons for power, sound selection, timer, and volume. The battery compartment is located on the underside/back.
6. Operating Instructions
- Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button (⑂) located on the top of the unit for a few seconds until the indicator light illuminates (for power on) or turns off (for power off).
- Sound Selection: Once powered on, press the music note button (♫) to cycle through the 8 pre-loaded sounds. The sounds include Waves, Rain, White Noise, Deep White Noise, Pink Noise, Outdoors, Clair De Lune, and Gymnopedie No.1.
- Volume Adjustment: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to increase or decrease the volume to your desired level.
- Timer Function: Press the timer button (with 15, 30, 60 markings) to set an auto-shutoff timer. Each press will cycle through 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 60 minutes, or continuous play (no light for continuous). The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
