6. Maintenance

To clean the ViewPro, use a soft, dry cloth. For the LCD screen, use a screen-specific cleaning solution and a microfiber cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the device or screen.
6.2 Storage
Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. When not in use, it is advisable to disconnect the power adapter and remove any connected storage devices.
6.3 Battery Care
If using an external battery pack (not included) for portable operation, ensure it is charged according to its manufacturer's instructions. For the internal CR2025 button battery, replace it when the system time and date frequently reset.
7. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your ClonerAlliance ViewPro.
- No video displayed on screen:
• Ensure all cables (HDMI, AV, VGA, YPbPr) are securely connected to both the source and the ViewPro.
• Verify that the correct input source is selected on the ViewPro (HDMI, VGA, AV, YPbPr).
• Check if the video source device is powered on and outputting a signal. - Recording stops unexpectedly or device freezes:
• Ensure your storage device (SD card or USB drive) has sufficient free space.
• Check the format of your storage device. FAT32 or exFAT are recommended.
• If using an external hard drive, ensure it has adequate power.
• Avoid placing the device on soft surfaces that might block ventilation, as overheating can affect performance. - Cannot record content:
• The device does not support content protected by HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection). If connected to an HDCP-protected source, it will display an error message or no signal. This is not a defect.
• Ensure your storage device is properly inserted and recognized by the ViewPro. - System time and date reset after power off:
• This indicates that the internal CR2025 button battery needs to be installed or replaced. Refer to Section 4.1 for installation instructions. - Cannot play back videos not recorded on the unit:
• The ViewPro is primarily designed to play back videos recorded by the unit itself. Compatibility with externally created video files may be limited. Ensure external files are in a compatible format (e.g., H.264/MP4) and resolution. - No audio during recording or playback:
• Check all audio cable connections. For HDMI, ensure the source is sending audio.
• Adjust the volume settings on the ViewPro and your source device.
• If using a microphone, ensure it is properly connected to the Mic IN port.
