- Front Camera: Integrated into the mirror unit, offering 4K resolution (3840x2160P) and a 170° wide-angle view.
- Rear Camera Port: Connects the external rear camera.
- Power Port (Type-C): For power supply and enhanced data transfer.
- TF/SD Card Slot: For recording storage.
- GPS Port: For connecting the GPS antenna (included).
- Microphones: For audio recording.
- Speaker: For audio playback and alerts.
- Reset Hole: For system reset if needed.

Installation
Mounting Options:
The AS5 Pro offers two primary mounting methods:
- OEM Look Design (Recommended): Replace your vehicle's existing rearview mirror bracket with the supplied mounting bracket. This method provides a seamless, integrated appearance and reduces vibration for stable footage. Self-installation is required. Ensure compatibility with your vehicle's bracket type before proceeding.
- Strap Installation: If the OEM bracket is not compatible or you prefer not to replace your existing mirror, use the provided rubber straps to attach the mirror dash cam securely over your current rearview mirror.

Rear Camera Installation:
The rear camera can be installed both inside and outside the car. The "rear view flip" and "rear view mirror" settings allow for upside-down installation of the rear camera, providing flexibility for optimal placement.

Wiring:
Connect the rear camera cable to the main unit's rear camera port. Route the cable discreetly along the vehicle's interior trim to the rear of the car. The power cable connects to the Type-C port on the main unit and then to your vehicle's cigarette lighter adapter. For parking monitoring features, an additional hardwire kit (sold separately) is required to ensure continuous power supply.
Important: Avoid using a 2-in-1 or 3-in-1 car charger, as it may result in insufficient power supply to the dash cam.
Initial Setup
1. Powering On:
Once connected to power, the dash cam will automatically power on. The initial boot-up screen will prompt you to select your language.
2. Language and Time Settings:
Use the touch screen to select your preferred language (e.g., English). The system will then guide you through setting the frequency (50Hz/60Hz) and speed unit (MPH/KMH). If the GPS antenna is connected, the device can automatically set the date and time. Otherwise, you can manually adjust these settings in the menu.
3. SD Card Formatting:
Insert a TF (microSD) card into the designated slot. The device will prompt you to format the card for first-time use. It is crucial to format the card within the device to ensure compatibility and optimal recording performance.
Operating Instructions
Touch Screen Interface:
The 11-inch full touch screen allows for easy navigation and control. Swipe gestures are used to switch between front camera view, rear camera view, and split-screen display. Tap on icons for settings, playback, photo capture, and locking files.

Recording Modes:
- Loop Recording: The dash cam continuously records, overwriting the oldest footage when the memory card is full. You can set loop recording intervals (e.g., 1, 3, or 5 minutes).
- G-Sensor: An integrated G-sensor detects sudden impacts or collisions. When triggered, it automatically locks the current video segment to prevent it from being overwritten, ensuring critical footage is preserved. Sensitivity can be adjusted (Low, Middle, High).
- Audio Recording: The device supports audio recording. This feature can be toggled on or off in the settings.
Rear Camera Zoom Function:
The upgraded rear camera features a zoom function. Simply swipe up or down on the right side of the screen to adjust the rear view, allowing for up to 2x magnification. This helps in adjusting the display according to the distance behind your vehicle.

Parking Assist:
When the vehicle is in reverse gear, the screen automatically displays a full-screen rear view with parking assist lines. These lines can be adjusted by sliding them on the screen to match your vehicle's perspective, reducing blind spots during parking maneuvers.

Pure Mode:
The AS5 Pro features a "Pure Mode" interface, allowing you to selectively display or hide time, date, and GPS information for a clutter-free view on the screen.
