This keyboard is designed for use with a wide range of Bluetooth-enabled devices, including Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus (2021), iPads, iPhones, Android tablets, smartphones, and Windows PCs.

Setup
1. Powering On/Off
To power on the keyboard, locate the ON/OFF switch on the side or back of the keyboard and slide it to the "ON" position. The indicator light will briefly illuminate. To power off, slide the switch to the "OFF" position.
The keyboard features an energy-saving design and will automatically enter sleep mode after 10 minutes of inactivity. To wake it up, press any key and wait 2-3 seconds.
2. Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the keyboard is powered on.
- Press the "Connect" button on the keyboard. The Bluetooth indicator light will start blinking, indicating it is in pairing mode.
- On your device (tablet, smartphone, PC), go to the Bluetooth settings.
- Enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "UrbanX Keyboard" or a similar name from the list of found devices.
- Your device may display a pairing code. Type this code on the UrbanX keyboard and press Enter.
- Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator light on the keyboard will stop blinking and remain solid for a moment, then turn off to save power. Your keyboard is now ready for use.

Operating Instructions
1. Operating System Compatibility
The UrbanX keyboard supports multiple operating systems. To switch between OS modes for optimal key functionality, use the following key combinations:
- Fn + Q: For iOS devices (iPad, iPhone)
- Fn + W: For Android devices (Tablets, Smartphones)
- Fn + E: For Windows PCs

2. Hot Keys and Function Keys
The keyboard features 78 keys, including 13 dedicated hot keys for iPad. These hot keys provide quick access to common functions. Note that Windows-dedicated hot keys may not function 100% on all Windows systems.
To use the function keys (F1-F12) or the special hot keys (e.g., volume, media control, brightness), press the Fn key simultaneously with the desired function key.
Note: There is no dedicated Escape key on this keyboard.

Maintenance
1. Battery Information
The keyboard uses 2 AAA batteries. The energy-saving design allows for up to 4 months of use between battery changes (based on 2 hours of non-stop use per day). When the battery is low, the charge indicator light may blink or remain off. Replace the batteries when necessary.
To replace batteries:
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the keyboard.
- Open the compartment cover.
- Remove the old AAA batteries and insert new ones, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover.

2. Cleaning

Troubleshooting
- Keyboard not connecting/pairing:
- Ensure the keyboard is powered on and has sufficient battery charge.
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
- Press the "Connect" button on the keyboard to enter pairing mode.
- Forget the keyboard from your device's Bluetooth settings and try pairing again.
- Ensure your device is within the 10-meter operating range.
- Keys not responding:
- Check battery level and replace if necessary.
- Ensure the keyboard is not in sleep mode (press any key to wake).
- Verify the keyboard is properly connected via Bluetooth.
- Hot keys not working correctly on Windows:
- As noted, some Windows-dedicated hot keys may not function 100% on all Windows systems due to varying OS configurations.
- Ensure you have selected the Windows OS mode (Fn + E).
