4. Setup and Installation
4.1. Battery Installation
Receiver:
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the receiver unit.
- Insert two (2) 1.5V AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Transmitter:
The transmitter comes with one (1) 12V 23A battery pre-installed. If replacement is needed, open the compartment and replace with a new battery, observing polarity.

4.2. Placement
- Transmitter: Mount the transmitter (doorbell button) near your entrance using the provided adhesive tape or screws. Ensure it is placed in a location protected from direct heavy rain to prolong its lifespan.
- Receiver: Place the receiver indoors in a central location where the chime can be heard clearly throughout your desired area. Consider placing it on a flat surface or mounting it to a wall using the integrated hanging hole.
For optimal performance, avoid placing the receiver or transmitter near large metal objects, thick walls, or other electronic devices that may cause interference. Test the range after placement to ensure reliable operation.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Basic Operation
Once batteries are installed in both units and they are placed within range, the doorbell system is ready for use. Press the button on the transmitter unit. The receiver will then emit a melody and its indicator light will flash.

5.2. Changing Melodies
The receiver offers 32 different melodies. To cycle through the melodies, locate the melody selection button on the receiver unit (often a small button on the side or back). Press this button repeatedly to preview the available tunes. The last selected melody will be saved for future use.
6. Maintenance
6.1. Battery Replacement
- Receiver: Replace the two (2) 1.5V AA batteries when the sound becomes faint or the indicator light fails to illuminate.
- Transmitter: The 12V 23A battery in the transmitter is designed for long life (approximately one year with 20 operations per day). Replace it if the doorbell fails to ring or the range significantly decreases.
Always dispose of old batteries responsibly according to local regulations.
6.2. Cleaning
Wipe the doorbell units with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the plastic casing. Ensure no moisture enters the units.
