3. Setup

3.1. Initial Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the headphones are charged (refer to Section 5 for charging instructions).
2. Power on the headphones by pressing and holding the Power button on the left earcup until the indicator light flashes.
3. The headphones should automatically enter pairing mode on first use. If not, long-press the Power button to initiate pairing. The indicator light will flash rapidly.
4. On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
5. Select "ATH-M20xBT" from the list of available devices.
6. Once connected, the indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid blue.

3.2. Multipoint Pairing

The ATH-M20xBT supports multipoint pairing, allowing connection to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously.

1. Pair the headphones with the first device as described in Section 3.1.
2. Disable Bluetooth on the first device temporarily.
3. Put the headphones back into pairing mode (long-press Power button).

3.3. Wired Connection

To use the headphones with a wired connection:

1. Connect the included 3.5mm audio cable to the audio input jack on the left earcup.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to your audio device's 3.5mm output jack.
3. The headphones will function as passive wired headphones, even if the battery is depleted.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Controls on Left Earcup

The left earcup houses all essential controls for playback, volume, and calls:

• Power Button: Press and hold to power on/off. Short press for play/pause.
• Volume Up (+): Short press to increase volume. Long press for next track.
• Volume Down (-): Short press to decrease volume. Long press for previous track.
• Microphone: Integrated for hands-free calls.

4.2. Making and Receiving Calls

The built-in omnidirectional microphone allows for clear communication.

• Answer/End Call: Short press the Power button.
• Reject Call: Long press the Power button.
• Activate Voice Assistant: Double-press the Power button.

Charging Procedure:

1. Connect the supplied USB Type-A to USB Type-C charging cable to the USB-C port on the left earcup.
2. Connect the USB Type-A end of the cable to a USB charging port (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter).
3. The indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.
