The Nuby RapidCool Portable Baby Bottle Maker includes the following components:

  • RapidCool Container: The insulated stainless steel vessel for cooling water.
  • Digital Lid: Features an integrated thermometer and temperature display.
  • Formula Dispenser: A separate container for pre-measuring formula powder.

4. Getting Started (Initial Setup)

  3. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.

5. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to prepare your baby's formula using the Nuby RapidCool:

  1. Prepare Water: Boil fresh tap water and allow it to cool for no more than 30 minutes. This ensures the water is hot enough to kill any bacteria in the formula powder, as recommended by WHO guidelines.
  2. Add Boiling Water: Carefully pour the hot water into the RapidCool container up to the desired measurement mark. The internal graduations indicate both ounces and milliliters.

  1. Add Formula: Using the provided formula dispenser, add the correct amount of formula powder according to your formula manufacturer's instructions.
  2. Secure Lid and Shake: Place the digital lid securely onto the RapidCool container. Shake the container vigorously for approximately 5 seconds to mix the formula thoroughly.
  3. Cool Down: The RapidCool will begin to cool the water rapidly. The digital display on the lid will show the current temperature. Wait until the display indicates the desired feeding temperature (typically around 37°C / 98.6°F, or as recommended by your formula brand). This usually takes 2-5 minutes.
  4. Pour and Serve: Once the correct temperature is reached, pour the prepared formula into a clean baby bottle. Always double-check the temperature by shaking a few drops onto your wrist before feeding your baby.
