1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the BUBLUE 2000 Sq. Ft Dehumidifier. This appliance is designed to efficiently remove excess moisture from your indoor environment, improving air quality and comfort. It is ideal for basements, homes, and large rooms, capable of removing up to 25 pints of moisture per day under standard conditions (86°F, 80%RH).

2. Setup

2.1 Unpacking and Placement

Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Place the unit upright on a flat, stable surface in the desired location. Ensure there is at least 8 inches (20 cm) of space around the unit for proper airflow. This dehumidifier is suitable for basements, bathrooms, bedrooms, garages, or any large room requiring moisture control.

2.2 Power Connection

Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The unit will enter standby mode.

2.3 Drainage Options

Your dehumidifier offers two drainage methods:

• Manual Drainage: The unit collects water in its internal 0.53-gallon water tank. When the tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off and an indicator light will illuminate. Empty the tank and reinsert it to resume operation.
• Continuous Drainage: For extended operation without manual emptying, attach the included drain hose to the drainage outlet on the back of the unit. Route the hose to a suitable drain (e.g., floor drain, large bucket) ensuring it is sloped downwards for gravity drainage.

3. Operation

3.1 Control Panel Overview

The dehumidifier features an intelligent touch control panel with an LED digital display. You can swipe and tap to view humidity information, mode status, and airflow levels.

3.2 Power On/Off

Press the Power button to turn the unit on or off.

3.3 Operation Modes

Press the Mode button to cycle through the following modes:

• Intelligent Mode: For daily usage, the unit automatically adjusts dehumidification based on the ambient humidity (30%-80% adjustable humidity).
• Continuous Mode: Ideal for extremely damp conditions, the unit operates continuously to reduce humidity.
• Sleeping Mode: Designed for nighttime use, this mode operates quietly to create a peaceful ambiance.

3.4 Timer Function

Use the Timer button to set a 24-hour timer for automatic turn on/shut off.

3.5 Child Safety Lock

Activate the Child Lock function to prevent unintentional changes to settings, protecting children and pets.

3.6 Clothes Drying Function

The dehumidifier can assist in drying clothes by removing moisture from the air, making the process faster and easier.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Emptying the Water Tank

When the water tank is full, the unit will stop operating and an indicator will light up. Carefully pull out the water tank, empty the collected water, and slide the tank back into place until it clicks securely. Ensure the tank is properly seated for the unit to resume operation.

4.2 Cleaning the Air Filter

Regularly clean the air filter to maintain optimal performance and air quality. Refer to the filter access instructions in your quick start guide. Gently remove the filter and clean it with a vacuum cleaner or wash it with warm, soapy water. Allow the filter to dry completely before reinserting it.

4.3 General Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the dehumidifier with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the unit is unplugged before any cleaning or maintenance.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your dehumidifier, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• Unit does not turn on: Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet. Ensure the water tank is correctly inserted and not full.
• Dehumidifier is not collecting water: Verify that the ambient humidity is above the set humidity level. Check if the air filter is clean and not obstructed. Ensure the unit is not in a very cold environment, as low temperatures can affect performance.
• Unit is noisy: While designed for low noise, ensure the unit is placed on a flat, stable surface to prevent vibrations. Check for any obstructions in the air intake or exhaust vents.
• Water tank full indicator is on, but tank is not full: Ensure the water tank is properly seated and the float switch is not stuck.
