5. Setup

5.1. Charging the Battery

  1. Insert the provided Lithium-ion battery into the battery compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
  2. Connect the camera to a power source using the USB charging cable.
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. Once fully charged, the light will change or turn off.

5.2. Inserting a Memory Card

  1. Open the memory card slot cover.
  2. Insert a compatible SD card (not included) into the slot with the metal contacts facing the correct direction until it clicks into place.
  3. Close the memory card slot cover.

5.3. Attaching the Wide-angle/Macro Lens

  1. Align the threads of the wide-angle/macro lens attachment with the threads on the front of the camera's main lens.
  2. Gently screw the attachment clockwise until it is securely fastened.
  3. To remove, unscrew counter-clockwise.

6. Operating the Camera

6.1. Power On/Off

  • To power on, press and hold the Power button.
  • To power off, press and hold the Power button again. The camera also features an automatic power-off function to conserve battery.

6.2. Taking Photos

  1. Turn on the camera. The 3.0-inch LCD screen will display the live view.
  2. Frame your shot using the LCD screen.
  3. Press the Shutter button halfway down to focus.
  4. Press the Shutter button fully to capture the image.

6.3. Recording Videos

  1. Switch the camera to video mode (if applicable, or press the dedicated video record button).
  2. Press the Record button to start recording.
  3. Press the Record button again to stop recording.

6.4. Using Digital Zoom

  • Use the zoom controls (usually a rocker switch) to zoom in or out. The camera supports up to 18x digital zoom.
