2. Setup and Installation
2.1 Battery Compatibility
The Microtek Luxe 1400 is compatible with a single 12V battery with a capacity ranging between 100 Ah and 200 Ah. It supports various battery types, including Flat Plate, Tubular, and SMF (Sealed Maintenance Free) batteries. The battery must be purchased separately.

2.2 Connection Steps
- Placement: Place the inverter in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, moisture, and flammable materials. Ensure it is on a stable, flat surface.
- Battery Connection: Connect the positive (+) terminal of the battery to the positive (+) terminal of the inverter and the negative (-) terminal of the battery to the negative (-) terminal of the inverter. Ensure connections are tight and secure.
- AC Input: Plug the inverter's AC input cord into a properly grounded wall outlet.
- Load Connection: Connect your appliances to the output sockets of the inverter.
- Power On: Press the power button on the inverter to turn it on.
Note: Installation does not include accessories such as wires, lugs, plugs, sockets, flexible pipes, clips, 2 MCBs, earthing, and battery stand. These must be provided by the customer if required.

4. Maintenance

- Keep Clean: Regularly clean the inverter's exterior with a dry cloth. Ensure ventilation openings are free from dust and obstructions.
- Battery Terminals: Periodically check battery terminals for corrosion. Clean them with a wire brush and apply petroleum jelly if necessary to prevent corrosion.
- Water Levels (for non-SMF batteries): If using a non-SMF battery, check the electrolyte levels regularly and top up with distilled water as needed.
- Ventilation: Ensure the inverter is always placed in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating.
- Avoid Overloading: Do not connect appliances that exceed the inverter's maximum load capacity (560W).
