3. Product Overview
The Coby Wireless Party Speaker CPA-800 features an 8-inch speaker with integrated party lights, a built-in handle for portability, and multiple connectivity options.

- Microphone Input: Connect a microphone for karaoke or public address.
- Display: Shows current mode, track number, or FM frequency.
- TF Card Port: Insert a TF (MicroSD) card for audio playback.
- USB Port: Insert a USB flash drive for audio playback.
- Volume + / Forward Button: Increase volume or skip to the next track.
- Play / Pause Button: Play or pause audio playback.
- Volume - / Rewind Button: Decrease volume or skip to the previous track.
- Mode Button: Switch between Bluetooth, AUX, USB, TF Card, and FM Radio modes.
- Auxiliary Input (AUX): Connect external audio devices via a 3.5mm cable.
- Micro-USB Input: For charging the speaker's internal battery.
- Power ON/OFF Volume Knob: Turn the speaker on/off and adjust the master volume.
4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Speaker
Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the Micro-USB Input (10) on the rear panel and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator on the display will show charging status.
4.2 Powering On/Off
To power on the speaker, rotate the Power ON/OFF Volume Knob (11) clockwise until you hear a click and the display illuminates. To power off, rotate the knob counter-clockwise until it clicks off.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Bluetooth Pairing
- Power on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing Bluetooth icon on the display.
- On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "Coby CPA-800" from the list.
- Once paired, the speaker will emit a confirmation tone, and the Bluetooth icon will stop flashing.
5.2 AUX Input
- Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the Auxiliary Input (9) on the speaker.
- Connect the other end to the headphone jack or audio output of your external device.
- Press the Mode Button (8) until "AUX" is displayed.
- Control playback and volume from your external device or the speaker's controls.
5.3 USB / TF Card Playback
- Insert a USB flash drive into the USB Port (4) or a TF (MicroSD) card into the TF Card Port (3).
- The speaker will automatically switch to USB or TF Card mode and begin playback. If not, press the Mode Button (8) to select the correct mode.
- Use the Volume +/Forward (5) and Volume -/Rewind (7) buttons to navigate tracks, and the Play/Pause Button (6) for playback control.
5.4 FM Radio
- Press the Mode Button (8) to switch to FM Radio mode. The display will show the FM frequency.
- To auto-scan and save available stations, press and hold the Play/Pause Button (6). The speaker will scan and store stations automatically.
- Use the Volume +/Forward (5) and Volume -/Rewind (7) buttons to switch between saved stations.
5.5 Karaoke Function
- Connect a wired microphone (not included) to the Microphone Input (1).
- Adjust the microphone volume using the dedicated microphone volume control (if available on your microphone) or the speaker's master volume.
- Play music from any source (Bluetooth, AUX, USB, TF Card) and sing along.
5.6 Light Show
The speaker features an integrated LED light show that automatically activates when the speaker is powered on. The lights cycle through various colors and patterns, enhancing the party atmosphere.

5.7 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing
You can pair two Coby CPA-800 speakers together for a true wireless stereo experience.

- Ensure both speakers are powered on and in Bluetooth mode, but not yet paired with any device.
- On one of the speakers (this will be the primary speaker), press and hold the Play/Pause Button (6) for a few seconds until you hear a confirmation tone.
- The two speakers will automatically connect to each other. Once connected, the primary speaker's Bluetooth indicator will flash, and the secondary speaker's indicator will be solid.
- Now, pair your mobile device to the primary speaker as described in section 5.1. Audio will play through both speakers in stereo.
6. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity of your Coby Wireless Party Speaker, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior of the speaker. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use for extended periods.
- Battery Care: If the speaker will not be used for a long time, charge it at least once every three months to maintain battery health.
7. Troubleshooting
