4. Setup

Follow these steps for initial setup of your dehumidifier:

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the dehumidifier and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Placement: Place the unit upright on a firm, level surface in the desired location. Ensure there is at least 8 inches (20 cm) of space around all sides for proper air circulation.
3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The unit will beep once, and the display will light up.
4. Drainage Options:
   • Manual Drainage (Water Tank): For manual drainage, ensure the water tank is correctly inserted. The unit will collect water in the 1.055-gallon visible water tank. When full, the unit will automatically shut off and an indicator light will illuminate, signaling it's time to empty the tank.
   • Continuous Drainage (Drain Hose): For continuous drainage, attach the included drain hose to the drainage outlet at the back of the unit. Route the hose to a suitable drain (e.g., floor drain, sink, or bucket) ensuring it is sloped downwards for gravity drainage.

Control Panel Functions:

• Power Button: Press to turn the unit ON or OFF.
• Mode Button: Cycle through the three operation modes:
  • Intelligent Mode: Automatically adjusts dehumidification based on the ambient humidity to maintain a comfortable level (30%-80% adjustable humidity).
  • Continuous Mode: Operates continuously to remove moisture, ideal for extremely damp conditions or drying clothes.
  • Sleeping Mode: Operates at a lower fan speed and reduced noise level for quiet nighttime operation.
• Timer Button: Set a 24-hour timer for automatic turn on/shut off. Press repeatedly to adjust the desired time.
