3. Setup Guide
3.1 Base Station Placement

3.2 Connecting the Base Station
- Connect the Ethernet cable from the DP752's LAN port to your network router or switch.
- Connect the power adapter to the DP752's power port and plug it into an electrical outlet. If using Power over Ethernet (PoE), the power adapter may not be necessary.
- Wait for the base station to boot up. The LED indicators on the front panel will show its status.
3.3 Handset Battery Installation and Charging
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of each DP730 handset.

4. Basic Operation

4.2 Receiving Calls
When the handset rings, press the Call button or any soft key to answer the call. To reject a call, press the End Call button.
4.3 Call Management
- Hold: During a call, press the Hold soft key. Press it again to resume.
- Transfer: During a call, press the Transfer soft key, dial the new number or extension, and press Transfer again (attended transfer) or hang up (blind transfer).
- 3-Way Conference: During an active call, press the Conference soft key, dial the second party's number, and once connected, press Conference again to join all parties.
4.4 Voicemail
When you have new voicemail messages, the handset will display an indicator. Press the Voicemail button (often the '1' key held down) and follow the voice prompts to access your messages.
