Setup

1. Unpacking and Placement

Carefully remove the air purifier from its packaging. Place the unit on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 6 inches (15 cm) of clear space around all sides of the unit for optimal air intake and output.

2. Filter Installation

The Habitat A1 Air Purifier comes with two H13 HEPA filters and a pre-filter already installed. However, it is recommended to check them before first use.

  1. Gently pull the side panels of the air purifier outwards to open the filter compartments.
  2. Ensure the two H13 HEPA filters are securely in place. Remove any plastic packaging from the filters if present.
  3. Close the side panels by pushing them back into place until they click securely.

3. Power Connection

Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The unit is now ready for operation.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off and Fan Speed Adjustment

The Habitat A1 features an intuitive touch display on the top surface for controlling the unit.

  • To power on the unit, gently swipe your finger across the touch display.
  • Continue swiping to cycle through the 5 available fan speeds. The display will illuminate to indicate the current speed setting.
  • To power off the unit, swipe until the display indicates the lowest setting or off position.

2. USB Charging Port

A universal USB charging station is integrated into the unit, allowing you to charge most devices conveniently.

  • Locate the USB port on the side of the air purifier.
  • Connect your device's USB charging cable to the port.
  • The USB port provides power regardless of the air purifier's fan speed setting, as long as the unit is plugged in.

Maintenance

1. Filter Replacement

The Habitat A1 Air Purifier is equipped with a smart filter reminder that will automatically alert you when it's time to replace the filters. Typically, filters should be replaced every 6-8 months, depending on usage and air quality.

  1. Unplug the air purifier from the power outlet.
  2. Gently pull the side panels outwards to open the filter compartments.
  3. Carefully remove the old filters. Dispose of them properly.
  4. Insert new genuine Habitat H13 HEPA filters into the compartments, ensuring they are oriented correctly.
  5. Close the side panels securely.
  6. Plug the unit back in. The filter reminder light should reset automatically. If not, consult the troubleshooting section.

2. Cleaning the Unit

  • Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior of the air purifier with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the surface.
  • Periodically vacuum the air inlet and outlet grilles to remove dust buildup.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit does not turn on. Not plugged in; Power outlet malfunction; Damaged power cord. Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Try a different outlet. Inspect the power cord for damage.
Poor air flow or purification. Blocked air inlets/outlets; Dirty filters; Incorrect filter installation. Ensure nothing is blocking the air inlets or outlets. Check and replace filters if dirty. Verify filters are installed correctly.
Filter reminder light stays on after replacement. Filter reset not performed (unlikely for this model, but possible). Unplug the unit for 30 seconds, then plug it back in. If the light persists, contact customer support.
Unusual noise. Loose filters; Obstruction in fan; Unit not on a level surface. Check that filters are securely installed. Ensure no foreign objects are inside the unit. Place the unit on a stable, level surface.
