2. Product Overview

3. Setup
3.1 Charging the Battery
The 12V Li-Ion battery may not be fully charged upon purchase. It is recommended to fully charge the battery before first use.
- Connect the charger to a standard electrical outlet (110V or 220V, as it is bivolt).
- Insert the battery into the charger. Ensure it clicks into place.
- Allow 3-5 hours for a full charge. The battery indicator LED on the tool will signal when charging is complete or when it needs recharging.

3.2 Attaching and Detaching the Battery
- To attach: Align the battery with the base of the drill handle and slide it in until it clicks securely.
- To detach: Press the release button on the battery pack (if present) and slide the battery out.

3.3 Inserting Drill/Screwdriver Bits
The BPF-12K3 features a quick-release chuck for easy bit changes.
- Rotate the chuck counter-clockwise to open the jaws.
- Insert the desired drill bit or screwdriver bit (with magnetic holder if applicable) into the chuck.
- Rotate the chuck clockwise to tighten the jaws securely around the bit. Ensure the bit is centered and firmly held.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On/Off and Speed Control
The tool is activated by pressing the trigger. Speed is controlled by the amount of pressure applied to the trigger.
- Press the trigger gently for lower speeds and increased control.
- Press the trigger fully for maximum speed (up to 740 RPM).
- Release the trigger to turn the tool off.
4.2 Torque Adjustment
The torque selector allows you to adjust the fastening force for screwing applications and select the drilling mode.
- Rotate the torque collar to select one of the 18 torque settings for driving screws. Lower settings are for smaller screws or softer materials, higher settings for larger screws or harder materials.
- Select the drill icon setting for drilling operations. This provides maximum torque for drilling.

4.3 Forward/Reverse Selector
The forward/reverse selector switch is located above the trigger and allows you to change the direction of rotation.
- Push the switch to the left for forward rotation (for drilling and tightening screws).
- Push the switch to the right for reverse rotation (for loosening screws or removing bits).
- Center the switch to lock the trigger and prevent accidental activation.
4.4 LED Work Light
The integrated LED light illuminates the work area for improved visibility, especially in dimly lit conditions.
- The LED light automatically activates when the trigger is pressed.
- It turns off when the trigger is released.

4.5 Battery Level Indicator
The battery level indicator LEDs provide a quick visual reference of the remaining battery charge.
