Controls and Ports

  1. Light-Mode Button: Cycles through different light effects.

Setup

Charging the Speakers

Before first use, fully charge both speakers. Connect the provided charging cable to the DC 5V port on each speaker and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.

Power On/Off

To power on a speaker, press and hold the Power Button (often integrated with the Mode button or a separate switch) until you hear an audible prompt or see the indicator lights activate. To power off, press and hold the same button again.

Operating Instructions

Bluetooth Pairing (Single Speaker)

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth mode. If not, press the Mode Button until you hear "Bluetooth Mode" or see a flashing blue indicator light.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.).
  3. Search for available devices and select "COBY CPA640BK" from the list.
  4. Once paired, you will hear a confirmation tone, and the indicator light will turn solid blue.
  5. You can now play audio from your device through the speaker.

True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing (Two Speakers)

To achieve stereo sound, you can pair two COBY CPA640BK speakers together wirelessly.

  1. Ensure both speakers are powered on and in Bluetooth mode, but not yet paired to any device.
  2. On one of the speakers (this will be the primary speaker), press the True Wireless Button. The speaker will emit a pairing tone.
  3. The two speakers will automatically search and connect to each other. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation tone.
  4. Now, on your mobile device, search for Bluetooth devices and select "COBY CPA640BK".
  5. Both speakers will now play audio in stereo.

FM Radio Mode

  1. Press the Mode Button repeatedly until you hear "FM Radio Mode".
  2. Press the Play/Pause Button to automatically scan and save available FM stations.
  3. Use the Rewind/Volume Down and Fast Forward/Volume Up Buttons to navigate between saved stations.

USB/TF Card Playback

  1. Insert a USB flash drive or a Micro TF card (with MP3 audio files) into the corresponding port on one of the speakers.
  2. The speaker will automatically switch to USB or TF Card mode and begin playing audio. If not, press the Mode Button to select the correct input.
  3. Use the Play/Pause, Rewind/Volume Down, and Fast Forward/Volume Up Buttons to control playback.

AUX Input

  1. Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX port on one of the speakers and the other end to the audio output of your external device.
  2. Press the Mode Button until you hear "AUX Mode".
  3. Control playback and volume from your external device.

Karaoke Mode

  1. Connect a 1/4" microphone (not included) to the MIC Input port on one of the speakers.
  2. Adjust the microphone volume using the controls on the microphone itself, if available.
  3. You can sing along to music playing from any source (Bluetooth, AUX, USB, TF) or use the microphone for announcements without music.

Light Modes

Maintenance

Troubleshooting

TWS pairing fails.
