3. Setup Guide
3.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the headset. Connect the provided USB cable to the 5-pin charging port on the headset and a suitable USB power source. A full charge takes approximately 2.5 hours. The LED indicator will change to indicate charging status (refer to the manual for specific light patterns).
3.2 Installation
The T-COM SC offers two installation methods: a hook clip or a velcro clip base, suitable for various helmet types. Choose the method that best fits your helmet.
- Attach the Mount: Securely attach either the hook clip or velcro clip base to the side of your helmet. Ensure it is firmly in place and does not obstruct your vision or helmet functionality.
- Mount the Headset: Slide the T-COM SC main unit onto the installed mount until it clicks into place.
- Install Speakers and Microphone: Place the ear speakers inside the helmet's ear pockets using the provided velcro pads. Position the microphone in front of your mouth for optimal voice pickup. Ensure cables are neatly tucked away and do not interfere with helmet comfort or safety.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the power button for approximately 2 seconds until the indicator light illuminates.
- Power Off: Press and hold the power button for approximately 5 seconds until the indicator light turns off.
4.2 Bluetooth Pairing
The T-COM SC can connect to your mobile phone and other Bluetooth devices. It supports simultaneous connection to two mobile phones.
- Enter Pairing Mode: With the device off, press and hold the multi-function button for 8 seconds until the red and blue lights flash alternately. You will hear a voice prompt "pairing".
- Connect to Phone: On your mobile phone, enable Bluetooth and search for "FreedConn T-COM SC". Select it to connect. Once connected, the blue light will flash slowly.
4.3 Intercom Function
The T-COM SC supports full-duplex intercom for two riders up to 800 meters and can connect up to three riders' Bluetooth devices for communication.
