This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your COOAU 4K60fps 64MP WiFi Touchscreen Action Camera, Model CU-SPC05. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the camera to ensure proper functionality and to maximize your experience.

3. Setup
3.1. Battery Installation and Charging
- Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the camera.
- Insert a 1350mAh battery, ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
- To charge, connect the camera to a power source using the provided Type-C USB cable. The camera is equipped with two batteries and a charging box for convenience.
3.2. Memory Card Installation
The camera supports SD flash memory cards. A high-speed (U3 or V30 recommended) microSD card is required for optimal 4K video recording.
- Locate the memory card slot on the side of the camera.
- Insert the microSD card with the contacts facing the front of the camera until it clicks into place.
- To remove, gently push the card until it springs out.
3.3. Waterproof Case Usage
The included waterproof case protects the camera for underwater use up to 40 meters (131 feet). Ensure the case is properly sealed before submerging.
- Place the camera inside the waterproof case.
- Close the latch securely.
- Before first use, test the waterproof case without the camera inside to ensure no leaks.
3.4. External Microphone Connection
For enhanced audio quality, especially in noisy environments, connect the external microphone.
- Locate the Type-C port on the camera.
- Plug the external microphone into the Type-C port.
- Ensure the microphone is positioned to capture desired audio.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Power On/Off
- To power on, press and hold the Power/Mode button.
- To power off, press and hold the Power/Mode button again.
4.2. Touchscreen Navigation
The 2-inch IPS touchscreen allows for intuitive control and menu navigation.
- Swipe left/right to switch between video and photo modes.
- Tap icons to access settings and playback.
- Swipe down from the top to access quick settings.

4.3. Video Recording
The camera supports 4K video recording at 60 frames per second (4K60fps).
- Standard Recording: Select video mode and press the Shutter button to start/stop recording.
- Vertical Recording: Choose 4K 30FPS (9:16) resolution in settings for vertical video, ideal for social media platforms.
- Pre-recording: Activate this feature to capture footage 12 seconds before you press the Shutter button, ensuring you don't miss crucial moments.

4.4. Photo Capture
Capture high-resolution photos up to 64MP.
- Standard Photo: Select photo mode and press the Shutter button.
- Time-lapse: Capture a series of photos at set intervals to create a time-lapse video.
- Continuous Shooting: Take multiple photos in quick succession.
- Long Exposure: Ideal for low-light conditions or creative effects.

4.5. EIS Stabilization
The camera features 6-axis Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS 4.0) for smoother video and clearer photos, even during dynamic activities.
- EIS is typically enabled by default. Check camera settings to ensure it is active for optimal stability.

4.6. Distortion Correction
To reduce the fisheye effect common with wide-angle lenses, enable distortion correction in the camera settings.
- Navigate to the settings menu on the touchscreen.
- Locate and enable the 'Distortion Correction' or 'LDC' (Lens Distortion Correction) option.

4.7. Wi-Fi Connection and Live DV App
Connect your camera to the Live DV app on your smartphone via Wi-Fi for remote control, live preview, and easy sharing.
- Download the 'Live DV' app from your smartphone's app store.
- On the camera, enable Wi-Fi in the settings menu. The camera's Wi-Fi name and password will be displayed.
- On your smartphone, connect to the camera's Wi-Fi network.
- Open the Live DV app to control the camera and view content.

5. Maintenance
5.1. Cleaning
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the camera body and lens.
- For the waterproof case, rinse with fresh water after saltwater use and allow to air dry.
