7. Troubleshooting

7.1. No Display Output

  • Ensure the HDMI cable is securely connected to both the docking station and the monitor.
  • Verify that your laptop's USB-C port supports video output (DisplayPort Alternate Mode).
  • Check the display settings on your laptop to ensure the external monitor is detected and configured correctly (e.g., Extend, Duplicate).
  • Try a different HDMI cable or monitor to rule out cable/monitor issues.

7.2. USB Devices Not Working

  • Ensure the docking station is properly connected to your laptop and powered on.
  • Try connecting the USB device to a different port on the docking station.
  • Connect the USB device directly to your laptop to confirm it is functional.
  • For high-power USB devices, ensure the docking station is receiving sufficient power, especially if using the PD port for laptop charging.

7.3. Ethernet Connection Issues

  • Verify that the Ethernet cable is securely connected to both the docking station and your router/modem.
  • Check the network settings on your laptop to ensure the Ethernet adapter is recognized and configured.
  • Restart your router/modem and laptop.
  • Try a different Ethernet cable.

8. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your CABLETIME 10-in-1 Docking Station, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the exterior of the docking station. Do not use liquid cleaners, aerosols, or abrasive solvents.
  • Airflow: Ensure the airflow holes on the top and bottom of the device are not obstructed to allow for proper air circulation and negative ion release. Do not touch the negative ion hole to avoid danger.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the docking station in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Handling: Avoid dropping or subjecting the device to strong impacts, as this can damage internal components.
