Decals are not adhering or are bubbling.

Ensure the surface where the decal is to be applied is clean, smooth, and completely dry. Use a decal setting solution (available at hobby stores) to help the decals conform to irregular surfaces and adhere more securely. Gently press out any air bubbles with a soft cloth or cotton swab.

Paint finish is uneven or streaky.

Apply paint in thin, even coats rather than one thick coat. Allow each coat to dry completely before applying the next. Ensure proper ventilation and temperature conditions during painting. If using spray paint, maintain a consistent distance from the model.
