3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Preparation

- Important Safety Note: It is strictly FORBIDDEN to power on the LED strip lights while they are still rolled on the reel. The strip lights MUST be in an unfolded state when operating to prevent overheating and potential damage.

- Measure and Cut (Optional): If a shorter length is desired, locate the cutting marks (indicated by a scissor icon) every 6 LEDs (approximately 3.94 inches) along the strip. Cut only at these designated marks.

- Peel and Stick: Carefully peel off the adhesive backing from the LED strip. Press the strip firmly onto the prepared surface, ensuring good contact along its entire length.
- Connect Power: Connect the LED strip to the dimmer switch, and then connect the dimmer switch to the AC power supply.
- Plug In: Plug the AC power supply into a standard electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off and Dimming
The included dimmer switch allows you to easily turn the lights on or off and adjust their brightness. Rotate the knob clockwise to increase brightness and counter-clockwise to decrease it. A click will be heard when turning the lights completely on or off.

- Parts of the strip not lighting up: This could indicate a damaged section or a poor connection. If the strip was cut, ensure the connection points are properly aligned and secured.
- Overheating: If the strip or power supply feels excessively hot, immediately unplug it. Ensure the strip was fully unrolled before use and that there is adequate airflow around the power supply.
