4. Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the warming tray from its packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Inspect: Check the unit for any signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.
  3. Placement: Place the warming tray on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is sufficient space around the unit for air circulation.
  4. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the glass surface and stainless steel frame with a damp cloth to remove any dust or manufacturing residues. Dry thoroughly.
  5. First Use Warning: During the first use, the unit may emit a slight odor or smoke for approximately 10 minutes. This is normal and due to the burning off of protective coatings. Ensure the area is well-ventilated. This will not happen on subsequent uses.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a standard 120 Volt AC electrical outlet. The power indicator light will illuminate, signaling the unit is receiving power.
  2. Adjust Temperature: Turn the temperature control knob to your desired heat setting: Low, Medium, Medium High, or High. Allow a few minutes for the surface to reach the selected temperature.
  3. Place Food: Place your pre-cooked, hot food in heat-resistant dishes directly onto the glass warming surface. Ensure dishes are compatible (no aluminum).
  4. Monitor: The power indicator light will remain on while the unit is operating.
  5. Serving: Use the cool-touch handles if you need to reposition the warming tray.
  6. Turn Off: After use, turn the temperature control knob to the 'Off' position and unplug the unit from the electrical outlet. Allow the unit to cool completely before handling or cleaning.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning will help maintain the appearance and performance of your Magic Mill Food Warmer.

  2. Glass Surface: Wipe the tempered enamel glass top with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn stains, a non-abrasive glass cleaner can be used. Avoid abrasive pads or harsh chemicals that could scratch the surface.
  3. Stainless Steel Frame: Clean the stainless steel frame with a soft, damp cloth. For best results, use a stainless steel cleaner and polish in the direction of the grain.
