3. Package Contents

4. Setup
4.1 Assembling the Monitor Stand
- Carefully remove the monitor and stand components from the packaging.
- Attach the stand neck to the monitor panel. Ensure it clicks securely into place.
- Connect the stand base to the stand neck. Tighten the captive screw at the bottom of the base to secure the assembly.
- Place the assembled monitor on a stable, flat surface.

4.2 Connecting the Monitor
Refer to the rear view of the monitor for port locations:

- Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the monitor's power input and then plug it into a power outlet.
- Video Connection: Choose one of the following options to connect your computer to the monitor:
- DisplayPort (DP): For optimal performance, connect one end of the DisplayPort cable to your computer's graphics card and the other end to the monitor's DP input.
- HDMI: Connect an HDMI cable from your computer's HDMI output to one of the monitor's HDMI 2.0 inputs.
- USB-C: If your device supports video output over USB-C, connect a USB-C cable from your device to the monitor's USB-C input.
- USB Hub Connection (Optional): To enable the monitor's integrated USB-A ports, connect the USB-B cable from your computer to the monitor's USB-B input.
5. Operating the Monitor
5.1 Powering On/Off
Press the power button, usually located on the back or bottom of the monitor, to turn the monitor on or off. The power indicator light will illuminate when the monitor is on.
5.2 On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu
The OSD menu allows you to adjust various monitor settings. Access the OSD menu by pressing the OSD joystick/button. Navigate through the menu options using the joystick/buttons and confirm selections.
5.3 Display Settings
Adjust settings such as brightness, contrast, color temperature, and input source through the OSD menu.
5.4 HDR Modes
The monitor supports multiple HDR modes to optimize viewing for different content types. These modes include Standard, Game, and Movie HDR. You can select these through the OSD menu. Standard HDR mode allows for personal adjustments to R/G/B color values, brightness, and contrast.

5.5 FreeSync Premium
For a seamless, tear-free gaming experience, enable FreeSync Premium through your graphics card settings and the monitor's OSD menu. This technology supports low framerate compensation (LFC) for impeccably smooth gameplay across a wide framerate range.

5.6 ARGB Lighting Control
The integrated ARGB lighting in the monitor's Halo stand can be customized using the MasterPlus+ app. This allows you to set specific colors for different occasions or synchronize the lighting with the display colors in real-time.
