Setup and Initial Use

Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the included 20V 2.0 Ah Lithium-Ion Battery using the rapid charger. The charger indicates charging status and completion. A full charge takes approximately 45 minutes.

Inserting the Battery

Align the battery with the battery slot on the nailer handle and slide it in until it clicks securely into place. Ensure it is fully seated before operation.

Loading Fasteners

To load nails, pull back the magazine follower until it locks. Insert a strip of 16 gauge straight finish nails (1" to 2-1/2" length) into the magazine. Release the follower to secure the nails.

Adjusting Depth

The nailer features a tool-free depth adjustment wheel located near the nose. Rotate the wheel to increase or decrease the driving depth of the nails, allowing for flush driving or countersinking based on your application.

Selecting Firing Mode

Use the select fire button to switch between single sequential firing and bump firing modes. Single sequential mode requires the safety contact to be pressed and the trigger pulled for each nail. Bump fire mode allows for rapid firing by holding the trigger and bumping the safety contact against the workpiece.

Operating the Nailer

Single Fire Mode

In single fire mode, press the safety contact firmly against the workpiece, then pull the trigger to drive a single nail. Release the trigger and lift the tool before moving to the next fastening point. This mode is ideal for precision work.

Bump Fire Mode

For rapid fastening, select bump fire mode. Hold the trigger down, then repeatedly press the safety contact against the workpiece to drive nails quickly. This mode is suitable for high-volume applications.

Maintenance

Clearing a Jam

In the event of a nail jam, activate the quick jam release mechanism located near the nose of the tool. This allows for easy access to clear the jammed fastener. Always disconnect the battery before attempting to clear a jam.
