3. Setup and Installation
Proper setup is crucial for the optimal performance of your portable air conditioner. Follow these steps for quick and easy installation.
3.1 Unit Placement
Place the portable air conditioner on a firm, level surface in the room you wish to cool. Ensure there is at least 20 inches (50 cm) of space around the unit for proper air circulation. The unit's smooth-gliding casters allow for easy repositioning.

3.2 Window Kit Installation
The included window installation kit is designed for use with double-hung or sliding windows. It is not suitable for casement windows. The window panel can be adjusted for window openings between 30 and 61 inches.
- Attach the exhaust hose to the unit's exhaust outlet.
- Connect the other end of the exhaust hose to the window panel adapter.
- Open the window and place the adjustable window panel into the window opening. Extend the panel to fit snugly and secure it.
- Ensure the window is closed tightly against the panel to minimize air leakage.

4. Operating Instructions
Your COLZER portable air conditioner offers multiple modes and convenient controls for optimal comfort.
4.1 Control Panel and Remote Control
The unit features an intuitive control panel on top and comes with a remote control for convenient operation from a distance.

4.2 Operating Modes
Select the desired mode using the 'Mode' button on the control panel or remote.
- Cool Mode: Provides powerful cooling for hot days. Set your desired temperature.
- Dry Mode: Removes excess moisture from the air, with a capacity of 55 pints/day. Ideal for humid conditions.
- Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling, offering two fan speeds (high and low).

4.3 Airflow and Oscillation
The unit features oscillating louvers to ensure cool air is distributed effectively throughout the room.

4.4 Timer Function
Utilize the 24-hour smart timer to program the unit to turn on or off automatically, saving energy and ensuring comfort when needed.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficient operation of your portable air conditioner.
5.1 Filter Cleaning
The air filter should be cleaned regularly (every two weeks or more often depending on usage) to maintain optimal performance. A dirty filter can reduce cooling efficiency and airflow.
- Unplug the air conditioner from the power outlet.
- Locate the air filter panel, typically on the back or side of the unit.
- Remove the filter.
- Wash the filter under running water (warm, not hot) or use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it into the unit. Do not expose to direct sunlight.

5.2 Draining Water
The unit has a self-evaporative system, but in high humidity conditions, the internal water tank may fill up. When full, the unit will stop operating and display an error code (refer to troubleshooting section). Drain the water using the provided drain hose.
- Turn off and unplug the unit.
- Place a shallow pan or container under the drain port at the bottom rear of the unit.
- Remove the drain plug and allow the water to flow out.
- Once drained, replace the drain plug securely.
6. Troubleshooting
