Setup Guide

1. Receiver Placement and Connections

Position the D-450 receiver in a location that provides a clear line-of-sight to the intended area of use for the transmitters. Avoid placing it near large metal objects or other wireless devices that could cause interference.

1. Attach Antennas: Screw the four included antennas onto the antenna jacks on the front panel of the receiver. Ensure they are securely tightened and positioned vertically for optimal reception.
2. Power Connection: Connect the supplied power adapter to the DC 12V input jack on the rear panel of the receiver and then plug it into an AC power outlet.
3. Audio Output:
   • For individual channel outputs, connect XLR cables from the "BAL MIC OUT 1-4" jacks on the rear panel to your mixer or audio interface.
   • For a mixed output of all four channels, connect a 1/4" TS cable from the "UNBAL LINE SUM OUT" jack to your mixer or audio interface.

2. Bodypack Transmitter Setup

1. Install Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the LT-450A bodypack transmitter. Insert two AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.
2. Connect Lapel Microphone: Plug the OML-4 lapel microphone into the input jack on the top of the bodypack transmitter. Secure the microphone to clothing, approximately 6-8 inches from the mouth, for optimal sound capture.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off

• Receiver: Press the "POWER" button on the front panel of the D-450 receiver. The display will illuminate.
• Transmitter: Press and hold the power button on the LT-450A bodypack transmitter until the display illuminates.

2. Channel Pairing (IR Sync)

The D-450-LT system uses infrared (IR) synchronization for easy pairing between the receiver and transmitters.

1. Select Channel on Receiver: On the D-450 receiver, use the "UP/DOWN" buttons for the desired channel (CH1, CH2, CH3, or CH4) to select a frequency. You can also long-press the "SET" button (2 seconds) to initiate an auto-scan for available frequencies.
2. Initiate IR Sync: Once a frequency is selected on the receiver, press the "MODE" button for that channel. The IR window on the receiver will flash.
3. Sync Transmitter: Hold the bodypack transmitter with its IR window facing the receiver's IR window, approximately 6-12 inches away. The transmitter will synchronize with the receiver's selected frequency. A successful sync will be indicated by the transmitter display showing the same channel and frequency as the receiver, and the RF indicator on the receiver illuminating.

3. Volume Control

Adjust the individual channel volume on the D-450 receiver using the dedicated volume controls for each channel. Start with a low volume and gradually increase it to prevent feedback or distortion.

4. Using the Lapel Microphones

Ensure the lapel microphone is securely clipped to the user's clothing, ideally on the lapel or collar, about 6-8 inches below the chin. This placement helps capture clear audio while minimizing clothing noise.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the receiver and transmitters. Avoid liquid cleaners or solvents.
• Battery Replacement: Replace AA batteries in the bodypack transmitters when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Remove batteries if the system will not be used for an extended period.
• Storage: Store the system in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Antennas: Handle antennas carefully to avoid bending or breaking.
