2. Battery Installation

The battery-operated train requires 2 AAA batteries (not included). Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the train engine. Use a small screwdriver to open the compartment, insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators (+/-), and securely close the compartment.

3. Water Refill for Steam Effect

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

Wipe all wooden and plastic components with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the train engine is dry before storing or replacing batteries.

2. Battery Replacement

When the train's movement slows or lights dim, it's time to replace the AAA batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in the Setup section. Always dispose of used batteries responsibly.

3. Water Reservoir Care

After play, empty any remaining water from the steam reservoir to prevent residue buildup. Allow the reservoir to air dry completely before storage.

Troubleshooting

Train Not Moving

  • Check Batteries: Ensure batteries are correctly installed and not depleted. Replace if necessary.
  • Track Connection: Verify that all track pieces are securely connected and form a continuous path.
  • Obstructions: Clear any debris or objects from the track that might impede the train's movement.

No Steam Effect

  • Water Level: Ensure the water reservoir is filled with water.
  • Train On: Confirm the train engine is turned on and moving. The steam effect only works when the train is active.
