Assembly Instructions

Assembly typically requires two people. Follow these steps carefully:

Step 1: Prepare the Fabric and Bars

1. Unroll the awning fabric completely on a clean, flat surface.
2. Insert the upper support bar into the top sleeve of the fabric. Secure it with the provided screws.
3. Insert the lower support bar into the bottom sleeve of the fabric. Secure it with the provided screws.

Step 2: Assemble the Vertical Support Poles

1. Connect the sections of the vertical support poles. Ensure the spring pins click into place.
2. Attach the top cap and bottom anti-slip base to each pole.
3. Adjust the height of the poles by extending the sections and securing them with the pins. The installation height should be adjusted according to your specific site.

Step 3: Attach Horizontal Support Arms and Crank Mechanism

1. Assemble the crank handle by connecting its sections.
2. Attach the crank mechanism to one end of the lower support bar.
3. Connect the horizontal support arms to the vertical poles using the provided clamps.
4. Attach the other end of the horizontal support arms to the upper support bar.

Step 4: Final Installation and Adjustment

1. Position the assembled awning in the desired location. Ensure the vertical poles are firmly pressed against the ceiling and floor.
2. Turn the bottom knob on each vertical pole to slightly adjust the pole height and create tension, ensuring stability. The adjustable height range is 0-3 cm for fine-tuning.
3. Ensure the awning is level and securely installed.

Operating Instructions

Extending and Retracting the Awning

• To extend the awning, insert the crank handle into the designated slot on the side and turn it clockwise.
• To retract the awning, turn the crank handle counter-clockwise.
• Adjust the extension as needed to achieve the desired shade.

Adjusting Height and Inclination

• The height of the awning can be adjusted by repositioning the horizontal support arms on the vertical poles. Loosen the clamps, slide the arms to the desired height, and re-tighten the clamps.
• The inclination of the awning is adjusted by the position of the horizontal support arms. Lowering the arms will increase the inclination, providing more vertical shade or privacy.

Maintenance

• Cleaning the Fabric: The polyester fabric with PU coating is resistant to wear. Clean the fabric with a soft cloth and mild soap solution. Rinse thoroughly with water and allow it to air dry completely before retracting. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Frame Care: Regularly inspect the metal frame for any signs of rust or damage. Clean metal parts with a damp cloth.
• Lubrication: Periodically apply a small amount of lithium grease or similar lubricant to the moving parts of the crank mechanism and support arm joints to ensure smooth operation and extend product life.

Troubleshooting
