Setup Guide

  1. Unpack the Scale: Carefully remove the weighing machine from its packaging.
  2. Install Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the underside of the scale. Insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.
  3. Placement: Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface. Avoid carpets, rugs, or uneven flooring, as this can affect accuracy.
  4. Initial Calibration: For the first use or after moving the scale, step on it briefly to turn it on, then step off. The display will show '0.0' or a similar reading, indicating it's ready for use.

Operating Instructions

  1. Step On: Gently step onto the center of the scale with bare feet. The scale will automatically turn on and begin measuring your weight.
  2. Wait for Reading: Stand still on the scale. The display will flash and then show your stable weight reading.
  3. Ignore First Reading: It is recommended to ignore the very first reading after the scale has been moved or if it has been off for a long time. Step off and then step on again for the most accurate measurement.
  4. Display Information: The backlit LCD will show your weight, and may also display the room temperature.
  5. Auto Shut-Off: The scale will automatically turn off after a few seconds of inactivity to conserve battery life.
