4.2 Connecting to Your Device
- Connect Power (Optional but Recommended): For optimal performance, especially when using high-power devices or NVMe SSDs larger than 1TB, connect a PD charger (29W/45W/65W/100W) to the dedicated USB-C charging port on the hub.
- Connect to Host Device: Use the provided USB-C to USB-C cable to connect the hub to your laptop, tablet, or other compatible USB-C device.
- Indicator Light: A blue LED light will illuminate, indicating the hub is powered on and connected. A red light indicates SSD activity.

5. Operation
Once connected, the Yottamaster SO6-C3 hub functions as a plug-and-play device. Your operating system (Windows, Mac OS, Linux) should automatically detect and configure the connected peripherals and the NVMe SSD.
5.1 Using USB Ports
Connect your USB-A and USB-C peripherals (e.g., external hard drives, keyboards, mice) to the corresponding ports. All USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports support up to 10Gbps data transfer. When the hub is connected to an external power supply, USB-A ports output 5V/1.5A and USB-C ports output 20V/3A (5A Max). Without an external power supply, USB-A/USB-C ports output Max 5V/0.9A.
5.2 Video Output
Connect up to two external monitors via the HDMI ports for dual 4K@60Hz display. For Windows systems, Multi-Stream Transport (MST) is supported, allowing for extended displays. For Mac systems, only mirrored displays are supported due to OS limitations.

5.3 SD/TF Card Reader
Insert your SD or TF (microSD) card into the respective slot to access its contents. Note that SD and TF cards cannot be used simultaneously.
5.4 Gigabit Ethernet
Connect an Ethernet cable to the LAN port for a stable and high-speed wired network connection up to 1000Mbps.
5.5 Audio In & Out
Plug your headphones or speakers into the 3.5mm audio jack for audio output, or connect a microphone for input.
6. Maintenance
- Keep the device clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Avoid exposing the hub to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
- Ensure proper ventilation around the hub, especially during extended use, as it may generate heat.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device yourself. Contact customer support for assistance.

8. Troubleshooting
- No Power/Device Not Recognized:
- Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the hub and your host device.
- If using an external power supply, ensure it is properly connected and provides sufficient wattage (e.g., 100W PD charger).
- Try connecting the hub to a different USB-C port on your host device.
- Restart your host device.
- NVMe SSD Not Detected or Slow Performance:
- Verify the SSD is correctly installed in the slot and the cover is secured.
- Ensure the SSD is an M.2 NVMe type; SATA SSDs are not supported.
- For SSDs larger than 1TB or for optimal performance, an external power supply is highly recommended.
- Check disk management on your operating system to see if the SSD needs to be initialized or formatted.
- Ensure the thermal pad is correctly applied to help with heat dissipation, as high temperatures can affect performance.
- Display Issues (No Signal, Flickering, Incorrect Resolution):
- Ensure HDMI cables are securely connected to both the hub and the monitors.
- Check your display settings on your host device to ensure the correct resolution and refresh rate are selected.
- For Mac users, remember that MST (extended display) is not supported; displays will be mirrored.
- Try using different HDMI cables or monitors to rule out cable/monitor issues.
- SD/TF Card Not Reading:
- Ensure only one card (SD or TF) is inserted at a time, as simultaneous use is not supported.
- Check if the card is inserted correctly and fully seated.
- Test the card with another device to ensure it is not faulty.
- Ethernet Connection Problems:
- Verify the Ethernet cable is securely connected to both the hub and your router/modem.
- Check your network settings on your host device.
- Ensure your router/modem is functioning correctly.
