1. Unpacking the Device
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. The kit includes:

2. Powering the Device
The blood pressure monitor can be powered by two methods:
- 4 AA Batteries: Insert four AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located on the bottom of the device. Ensure correct polarity.
- USB Charging Cable: Connect the provided USB charging cable to the monitor and a compatible USB power source (e.g., adapter, laptop, power bank).
For continuous use, USB power is recommended. If using batteries, ensure they are fresh for accurate readings.

3. Applying the Cuff
Proper cuff application is crucial for accurate measurements. The adjustable cuff is designed for arm circumferences between 8.7 and 16.5 inches.
- Open the Cuff: Open the cuff and pass one end through the iron ring. Ensure the Velcro faces outward.
- Position the Cuff: Wrap the cuff around your bare left upper arm. The air tube should run down the center of your arm, aligned with your middle finger. The bottom edge of the cuff should be approximately 2-3 cm (about 1 inch) above your elbow joint.
- Secure the Cuff: Tighten the cuff snugly but not too tightly. You should be able to insert one or two fingers between the cuff and your arm.
- Arm Position: Rest your arm comfortably on a table or flat surface with your palm facing upwards. Ensure the cuff is at the same level as your heart.

Operating Instructions
1. Taking a Measurement
Before measuring, sit quietly for a few minutes. Avoid talking, moving, or eating during the measurement process.
- Select User: If using the 2-user memory mode, press the MEM button to switch between User 1 and User 2.
- Start Measurement: Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will automatically inflate, and the measurement will begin.
- View Results: Once the measurement is complete, the systolic pressure (SYS), diastolic pressure (DIA), and pulse rate (PUL) will be displayed on the large LCD screen. The device will automatically turn off after 30 seconds.
