Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for a smooth installation process:

1. Plan Placement: Determine the ideal location for both the top power box (behind the TV) and the bottom cable pass-through box (near an existing outlet). Ensure both locations are between the same two vertical wall studs and free of any horizontal obstructions.
2. Mark and Cut: Use the included cutting template to accurately mark the cutouts for both the top and bottom units on your drywall. Carefully use the provided drywall saw to cut out the marked sections.

3. Route Cables: Feed the low-voltage cables (HDMI, Ethernet, etc.) through the brush plate opening of the top power box. The unique cable catching design helps prevent cables from falling into the wall cavity.

4. Install Units: Insert the top power box and bottom cable pass-through box into their respective cutouts. Secure them using the provided mounting screws.
5. Connect Power: Plug the included 6-foot low-profile extension cord into the bottom cable pass-through unit and then into an existing wall outlet. This powers the top unit.

Operating Instructions

Once installed, the ECHOGEAR TV Cord Hider provides convenient power and cable access:

• AC Outlets: The top power box features two standard AC outlets. These are ideal for powering your TV, soundbar, streaming devices, or other electronics. The design allows for awkwardly shaped power plugs without obstructing the second outlet.
• USB-A Ports: Two USB-A ports are integrated into the top power box, perfect for charging streaming sticks, LED light strips, or other USB-powered accessories.

• Low-Voltage Cable Pass-Through: The brush plate allows for easy routing of low-voltage cables such as HDMI, Ethernet, and audio cables, keeping them neatly organized and out of sight.
