Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your air conditioner.

7.1 Cleaning the Air Filter

The unit features a removable and washable double-layer air filter. It is highly recommended to clean the air filter every two weeks of operation to maintain performance and protect against dust.

  1. Unplug the air conditioner from the power outlet.
  2. Remove the air filter from its housing (refer to the product diagram for location).
  3. Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.

The ZAFRO AC unit is designed with a self-evaporative system, which typically handles condensed water. However, during periods of high humidity or frequent use, it is recommended to connect the drain hose to prevent excessive water collection and potential leakage.

  • Locate the drainage hole at the bottom rear of the unit.
  • Connect the provided water pipe (drain hose) to the drainage outlet.
  • Direct the other end of the drain hose to a suitable container or floor drain. Ensure the hose is positioned lower than the drainage outlet for gravity drainage.
