- Connect the High-Pressure Hose: Screw the high-pressure hose securely into the outlet on the front of the pressure washer unit.
- Connect the Water Supply: Attach the quick connect adapter to the water inlet on the back of the pressure washer. Connect your garden hose to the quick connect adapter and turn on the water supply.
- Connect to Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable 220V electrical outlet.
- Prime the Pump: Before attaching any spray lance, press the trigger on the high-pressure gun to allow water to flow through the system and expel any air. Continue until a steady stream of water emerges.
5. Operation
Once assembled and primed, your Kärcher K3.30 Pressure Washer is ready for use. Always ensure the safety lock on the high-pressure gun is engaged when not actively spraying.
5.1. Applying Detergent
There are two primary methods for applying detergent with your Kärcher K3.30:
- Using the Suction Hose:
Dilute Kärcher detergent according to its instructions. Place the suction hose into the detergent container. With the high-pressure gun detached from any lance, press the trigger. The machine will draw detergent through the suction hose and mix it with the water stream.
- Using the Foam Cannon:
Fill the foam cannon reservoir with Kärcher detergent. Attach the foam cannon directly to the high-pressure gun. Engage the safety lock, then turn on the machine. Release the safety lock and press the trigger to apply foam. This method provides a thick, even layer of foam for effective cleaning.
5.2. Using the Vario Power Spray Lance
The Vario Power spray lance allows you to adjust the pressure and spray pattern by simply twisting the nozzle. This versatility makes it suitable for various cleaning tasks, from gentle rinsing to powerful cleaning of stubborn dirt.
