Setup
Charging the Controller
Before first use, fully charge the controller. Connect the supplied USB charging cable to the controller's charging port and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., console, PC, USB wall adapter).
- The indicator light will blink during charging.
- The indicator light will turn off or remain solid when fully charged.
Pairing with PlayStation 4 (PS4)
- Ensure your PS4 console is powered on.
- Connect the controller to the PS4 console using the USB charging cable.
- Press the PS button on the controller. The controller will pair with the console.
- Once paired, you can disconnect the USB cable for wireless play.
- For subsequent uses, simply press the PS button to connect wirelessly.
Pairing with PlayStation 3 (PS3)
- Ensure your PS3 console is powered on.
- Connect the controller to the PS3 console using the USB charging cable.
- Press the PS button on the controller. The controller will pair with the console.
- Once paired, you can disconnect the USB cable for wireless play.
Connecting to PC

USB Connection:

Bluetooth Connection (Wireless):

- On the controller, press and hold the PS button and SHARE button simultaneously until the light bar starts flashing rapidly. This puts the controller into pairing mode.
- On your PC, go to Bluetooth settings and search for new devices.

Troubleshooting
Controller Not Connecting/Responding

- Reset Controller: Locate the small reset button on the back of the controller (often near the L2 shoulder button, inside a small hole). Use a thin object (like a straightened paperclip) to press and hold the button for 3-5 seconds. Then, try to reconnect.
- Re-pair: For PS4/PS3, connect the controller via USB cable and press the PS button to re-pair. For PC Bluetooth, remove the device from your PC's Bluetooth settings and re-pair.
- USB Cable: Try a different USB cable to rule out a faulty cable.
- Console/PC Restart: Restart your console or PC.
Input Lag or Disconnections
- Interference: Move closer to the console/PC. Avoid obstacles or other wireless devices that might cause interference.
- Battery Level: Low battery can affect wireless performance. Charge the controller.
