This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Rowenta Easy Steam high-pressure steam generator. Please read these instructions carefully before first use and keep them for future reference.

2. Setup and First Use
2.1 Unpacking and Component Check
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts are present and undamaged. The package should contain the steam generator base, the iron, and the instruction manual.
2.2 Filling the Water Tank
- Ensure the appliance is unplugged from the power outlet.
- Remove the removable water tank from the base unit.
- Fill the tank with clean tap water up to the 'MAX' indicator. Do not use distilled or demineralized water exclusively, as this can affect steam performance.
- Replace the water tank securely into the base unit.

2.3 First Use Procedure
- Plug the appliance into a suitable grounded power outlet.
- Press the On/Off button. The indicator light will illuminate.
- Wait approximately 2 minutes for the appliance to heat up. The indicator light will stop flashing when ready.
- For the first use, or after a long period of inactivity, press the steam trigger several times while pointing the iron away from clothing to prime the pump and remove any condensation.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Power and Steam Control
The Rowenta Easy Steam features a 2400 W power output and a continuous steam output of 110 g/min, with a powerful 210 g/min steam boost for stubborn creases.
- On/Off Button: Press to power the unit on or off.
- Steam Trigger: Located on the underside of the iron handle, press to activate steam.
- Eco Mode: Activate the Eco mode for reduced energy consumption while still achieving effective ironing results. This setting is ideal for less demanding fabrics.

3.2 Ironing Techniques
The Airglide stainless steel soleplate ensures excellent steam diffusion and smooth gliding over all fabric types. Its profiled tip allows easy access to difficult areas.
- Horizontal Ironing: Place the garment flat on an ironing board. Move the iron smoothly over the fabric, pressing the steam trigger as needed for continuous steam or a steam boost.
- Vertical Steaming: For curtains, suits, or delicate garments, hold the iron vertically a few centimeters away from the fabric. Press the steam trigger to release steam and remove wrinkles.

3.3 Safety Features
The appliance is equipped with an automatic shut-off system for enhanced safety. If left unattended for a period, the iron will automatically turn off.
4. Maintenance and Care
4.1 Anti-Calc System
The integrated anti-calc system helps maintain the appliance's performance and prolong its lifespan by preventing limescale buildup. Refer to the specific instructions in your full manual for the descaling procedure. Regular descaling is crucial, especially in areas with hard water.
4.2 Cleaning the Soleplate
- Ensure the iron is cool and unplugged.
- Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth. For stubborn marks, use a non-abrasive cleaning stick specifically designed for iron soleplates.
- Do not use abrasive pads or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the soleplate coating.
4.3 Water Tank Cleaning and Storage
- Empty the water tank after each use to prevent limescale accumulation and odors.
- The compact design and secure locking system make the Rowenta Easy Steam easy to store. Wrap the steam hose and power cord neatly before storing.

5. Troubleshooting
