5. Setup

Your Alpswolf LED Lantern Camping Flashlight comes ready to use with an integrated rechargeable battery. Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the device.

5.1 Initial Charging

1. Locate the charging port cover on the side of the lantern.
2. Gently lift the rubber cover to expose the USB charging ports.
3. Connect the provided USB-A to USB-C cable to the lantern's USB-C input port.
4. Plug the USB-A end of the cable into a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, power bank, computer USB port).
5. The indicator lights will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes about 4 hours.
6. Once fully charged, disconnect the cable and securely close the rubber cover to maintain water resistance.

Note: A USB-C to USB-C cable will not be recognized by the AlpsWolf device for charging. Please use a USB-A to USB-C cable.

The Alpswolf LED Lantern features a single button for easy operation and cycling through its various lighting modes.

6.1 Power On/Off and Mode Selection

1. To Turn On: Press the power button once. The lantern will typically start in its brightest flashlight mode.
2. To Cycle Modes: Press the power button repeatedly to cycle through the 6 available lighting modes:
• Flashlight High
• Flashlight Low
• Lantern High (360° illumination)
• Lantern Low (360° illumination)
• Red Light (steady)
• Red Flash Light (emergency signal)
3. To Turn Off: Hold the power button down for approximately 2-3 seconds. This allows you to turn off the device directly without cycling through all modes.

6.2 Using as a Power Bank

1. Open the rubber cover to expose the USB ports.
2. Connect your device's charging cable to the USB-A output port on the lantern.
3. The lantern will begin charging your device.
4. Monitor your device's charging status. Disconnect when charging is complete.
5. Securely close the rubber cover after use.

6.3 Hanging the Lantern

The lantern features a sturdy handle and a two-way hook for convenient hanging:

• Extend the metal hook from the top of the lantern to hang it from tent loops, tree branches, or backpack straps.
