Setup Instructions
- Assemble the Stand: Carefully attach the monitor stand to the back of the monitor. Ensure it is securely fastened according to the diagrams provided in the quick start guide.
- Connect Video Cable: Connect one end of the HDMI or VGA cable to the corresponding port on your computer, DVR, or NVR. Connect the other end to the HDMI or VGA input port on the back of the monitor (refer to Figure 2).
- Connect Audio (Optional): If your source device outputs audio separately and you wish to use the monitor's built-in speakers, connect an audio cable from your source device's audio output to the 3.5mm Headphone Jack (Audio in) on the monitor (refer to Figure 2).
- Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the DC Power input on the monitor (refer to Figure 2). Then, plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
- Power On: Press the power button on the monitor. The power indicator light should illuminate, and the screen will display the input source.
Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
- To turn on the monitor, press the power button located on the bottom right side of the monitor.
- To turn off the monitor, press the power button again.
Input Source Selection
The monitor automatically detects the active input source. If multiple sources are connected, you may need to manually select the input:
- Press the 'M' button (Menu) to access the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu.
- Navigate using the arrow buttons to 'Input Source' or 'Source'.
- Select 'HDMI' or 'VGA' as required.
OSD Menu Navigation
The OSD menu allows you to adjust various display settings:
- Press the 'M' button to open the OSD menu.
- Use the arrow buttons (usually '<' and '>') to navigate through menu options.
- Press the 'E' button (Enter) to select an option or confirm a setting.
- Press the 'X' button (Exit) to close the OSD menu or go back to the previous level.
- Common settings include Brightness, Contrast, Color Temperature, Aspect Ratio, and OSD Language (English is supported).
Maintenance
Cleaning the Monitor
- Always unplug the monitor from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild, non-abrasive screen cleaner.
- Do not spray cleaner directly onto the screen. Apply it to the cloth first.
- Avoid using benzene, thinner, ammonia-based cleaners, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the screen or casing.
Storage
- When not in use for an extended period, store the monitor in a cool, dry place.
- Protect the monitor from extreme temperatures and humidity.
- If possible, use the original packaging for storage to prevent dust and physical damage.
