Please read this manual thoroughly before using the appliance and keep it for future reference. Proper use ensures optimal performance and safety.
Safety Information
WARNING: Improper installation, adjustment, alteration, service, or maintenance can cause injury or property damage. Refer to this manual. For assistance or additional information, consult a qualified installer, service agency, or the gas supplier.
- This appliance is designed for indoor use only. Do not use outdoors.
- Ensure adequate ventilation when operating the heater. Do not use in unventilated areas.
- Use only with butane gas G30 or propane gas G31. Ensure the gas cylinder and regulator are compatible with the heater and local regulations.
- Keep flammable materials at a safe distance from the heater.
- Do not obstruct the air inlets or outlets of the heater.
- Never leave the heater unattended while in operation.
- Keep children and pets away from the heater.
Integrated Safety Systems:
- Double Safety System: The heater is equipped with a double safety system that automatically shuts off the gas supply if the flame goes out or if the percentage of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere exceeds safe levels. This prevents gas leaks and CO2 poisoning.
- Overheat Protection: The heater includes a mechanism to prevent overheating, automatically shutting down if internal temperatures become too high.
- Tip-Over Protection: A fall protection system (tilting sensor) automatically turns off the heater if it is accidentally knocked over.

Figure 1: Double Safety System. This image highlights the double safety system, which automatically cuts off the gas supply if the flame extinguishes or if CO2 levels in the atmosphere exceed safety thresholds. It also shows the top cover and underside of the heater.

Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain packaging materials for future storage or transport.
- Placement: Position the heater on a flat, stable, and non-combustible surface. Ensure there is adequate clearance from walls, furniture, and other flammable objects (minimum 1 meter). This heater is for floor mounting only.
- Gas Cylinder Installation:
- Open the rear compartment of the heater.
- Place a 15 kg butane (G30) or propane (G31) gas cylinder into the designated holder inside the compartment (refer to Figure 3 for gas cylinder location).
- Connect the gas regulator to the cylinder valve. Ensure a tight and secure connection.
- Connect the gas hose from the regulator to the heater's gas inlet. Check all connections for leaks using a soapy water solution (bubbles indicate a leak).
- Close the rear compartment securely.
- Ventilation: Ensure the room has proper ventilation. Do not use in sealed or poorly ventilated areas.
Operating Instructions
- Starting the Heater:
- Ensure the gas cylinder valve is open.
- Press and turn the control knob to the desired power setting (Low or High).
- Press the ignition button repeatedly until the pilot flame ignites. Keep the control knob pressed for a few seconds after ignition to allow the thermocouple to heat up.
- Release the control knob. If the flame goes out, repeat the ignition process.
- Adjusting Heat Settings:
- The heater offers two power settings: Low (1.75 kW) and High (3.5 kW).
- Turn the control knob to select the desired heat output.
- Gas Consumption:
- Minimum consumption: 127.3 g/h
- Maximum consumption: 254.6 g/h
- Shutting Down:
- Turn the control knob to the "OFF" position.
- Close the valve on the gas cylinder.
- Allow the heater to cool down completely before moving or storing.

Figure 4: Heating Performance. This image details the two heating power settings (1.75 kW minimum, 3.50 kW maximum) and corresponding gas consumption rates (127.3 g/h minimum, 254.6 g/h maximum). It also indicates a maximum power output of 3500 W and a heating area of 20-60 m².
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Ensure the heater is completely cool and disconnected from the gas supply before cleaning. Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Dust Removal: Periodically clean dust from the air inlets and outlets using a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to maintain efficient operation.
- Gas Hose and Regulator Inspection: Regularly check the gas hose and regulator for any signs of wear, cracks, or damage. Replace immediately if any damage is found.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, disconnect the gas cylinder, clean the heater, and store it in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Heater does not ignite. | Gas cylinder valve closed. No gas in cylinder. Faulty ignition. Gas hose/regulator issue. | Open gas cylinder valve. Replace gas cylinder. Ensure ignition button is pressed correctly. Check connections, replace if damaged. |
| Flame goes out during operation. | Low gas pressure. Safety system activated (CO2 or flame failure). Poor ventilation. | Check gas cylinder level. Ensure adequate ventilation. Move heater to a better-ventilated area. |
| Heater smells of gas. | Gas leak. | Immediately turn off the heater and gas cylinder valve. Ventilate the area. Do not operate. Contact a qualified technician. |
| Heater shuts off unexpectedly. | Tip-over protection activated. Overheat protection activated. Safety system activated (CO2 or flame failure). | Ensure heater is on a stable surface. Allow to cool down. Ensure adequate ventilation. |
