2. Safety Instructions

4. Setup
Follow these steps for initial setup of your evaporative air cooler:
- Unpack: Carefully remove the air cooler and all accessories from the packaging.
- Positioning: Place the unit on a firm, level surface in the desired location. Ensure it is near a power outlet and has adequate space for air circulation.
- Fill Water Tank:
- Locate the water tank at the bottom of the unit.
- Pull out the water tank gently.
- Fill the tank with clean tap water up to the "MAX" line. Do not overfill.
- Carefully push the water tank back into place until it clicks securely.
- Prepare Ice Boxes (Optional for Enhanced Cooling):
- Fill the included ice boxes with water and place them in a freezer until completely frozen.
- Once frozen, open the ice box compartment on the side of the cooler.
- Insert the frozen ice boxes into the designated slots.
- Close the compartment securely.
- Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions
Your COSTWAY Evaporative Air Cooler can be operated using the touch control panel on top of the unit or the included remote control.
Control Panel & Remote Control
The control panel and remote offer identical functions for convenient operation.

Functions:
- Power On/Off: Press the Power button to turn the unit on or off.
- Speed Adjustment: Press the Speed button repeatedly to cycle through 3 speed settings: Low, Medium, High. The current speed will be displayed on the LED screen.
- Wind Modes: Press the Mode button to select from 3 wind modes:
- Normal Mode: Provides a consistent airflow.
- Cooling Mode: Activates the evaporative cooling function, using water and ice boxes for cooler air.
- Sleep Mode: Operates at a lower speed and noise level for quiet nighttime use.
- Oscillation: Press the OSC button to activate or deactivate the 70° oscillation function, which distributes air across a wider area.
- Timer: Press the Timer button to set the auto-off timer from 1 to 9 hours. Each press increases the timer by one hour.
- LED Display Auto-off: The LED display will automatically turn off after 3 minutes of no operation to minimize light disturbance, especially in Sleep Mode.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your air cooler. Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Water Tank Cleaning:
- Regularly empty and clean the water tank to prevent mold and mildew buildup.
- Pull out the water tank, rinse it with clean water, and wipe it dry.
