Setup

Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
2. Slide open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert two (2) 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

No programming or pairing is required after battery installation. The remote control is ready for immediate use with compatible Hisense HS214 soundbar models.

Point the remote control directly at your Hisense HS214 soundbar to ensure proper signal transmission. The remote provides access to various functions:

• Power Button (⏻): Turns the soundbar on or off.
• Mute Button (🔇): Mutes or unmutes the soundbar audio.
• Volume Up/Down (VOL+ / VOL-): Adjusts the main volume level.

• Display Dimmer (DIM-, DIM+): Adjusts the brightness of the soundbar's display.
• Bass Control (BASS-, BASS+): Adjusts the bass level.
• Source (SOURCE): Cycles through available input sources (e.g., HDMI ARC, Optical, Bluetooth, AUX, USB).

Maintenance

Cleaning the Remote Control

To clean the remote control, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as these may damage the remote's surface or internal components.

Battery Replacement

Replace batteries when the remote control's response becomes sluggish or stops functioning. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.
