Setup
Before starting your generator, ensure it is properly set up and prepared for operation.
- Unpacking and Inspection: Carefully remove the generator from its packaging. Inspect for any visible damage during shipping. Ensure all included components are present: 1 spark plug wrench, 3 grounded plugs, and 1 instruction manual.
- Placement: Place the generator on a firm, level surface outdoors in a well-ventilated area, away from windows, doors, and vents. Ensure at least 3 feet (1 meter) of clearance on all sides to allow for proper ventilation and exhaust dispersion. Never operate indoors.
- Add Engine Oil: Locate the oil fill cap/dipstick. Add the recommended engine oil (10W30 or 15W40) up to the full mark on the dipstick. The oil capacity is 0.6 liters. Do not overfill.
- Add Fuel: Fill the gasoline tank with fresh, unleaded gasoline (92 # or 10% ethanol recommended). The tank capacity is 15 liters. Do not overfill and ensure the fuel cap is securely tightened.
- Grounding: Connect a grounding wire from the generator's ground terminal to a suitable earth ground. This is crucial for safety.

Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to safely start and operate your KINGSMAN generator.

Figure 7: Quick Start Guide. Visual steps for starting the generator.
- Step 1: Verify Fuel and Oil. Ensure the gasoline tank is filled and the engine oil level is correct.
- Step 2: Turn Fuel Valve ON. Locate the fuel valve and turn it to the "ON" position.
- Step 3: Set Choke to OFF (Closed). For a cold engine, move the choke lever to the "OFF" (closed) position.
- Step 4: Turn Engine Switch ON. Press the engine switch to the "ON" position.
- Step 5: Use Pull Start. Firmly pull the recoil starter handle until the engine starts.
- Step 6: Set Choke to ON (Open). Once the engine has started and warmed up slightly, gradually move the choke lever to the "ON" (open) position.
Connecting Devices
The generator is ideal for domestic use and can power various appliances. It is suitable for connecting one appliance to the 220V AC outlet or two appliances to the 110V AC outlets (not simultaneously for maximum load).

Figure 8: Ideal for Domestic Use. Examples of compatible appliances and their power requirements.
Before connecting any device, ensure its power requirements do not exceed the generator's output capacity. Refer to the table below for maximum current and power for each voltage output:
| Current Type | Voltage (V) | Amperage (A) | Power (W) |
|---|---|---|---|
| AC | 220 V | 12.7 A | 2800 W |
| AC | 110 V | 25.4 A | 2200 W |
If your appliance exceeds these characteristics, it is not compatible with this equipment.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and optimal performance of your generator.
- Check Oil Level: Regularly check the engine oil level before each use. Add oil if necessary, ensuring it is within the recommended range.
- Clean/Replace Air Filter: Inspect the air filter periodically. Clean it if dirty or replace it if heavily soiled or damaged. A clogged air filter can reduce engine performance and increase fuel consumption.
- Spark Plug Inspection: Check the spark plug for wear or carbon buildup. Clean or replace as needed to ensure proper ignition.
- Fuel System: If storing the generator for an extended period, drain the fuel tank and carburetor to prevent fuel degradation and carburetor clogging.
- General Cleaning: Keep the generator clean from dirt, dust, and debris. Ensure cooling fins are clear for proper heat dissipation.
