Invigorated Water PH001

Invigorated Water PH001 Black Alkaline Water Filter Instruction Manual

Model: PH001

1. Product Overview

The Invigorated Water PH001 Black Alkaline Water Filter is designed to enhance the quality of your drinking water. This multi-stage filter system removes impurities while retaining beneficial minerals, providing cleaner, better-tasting water.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Stage Filtration: Features two "micronets" to filter out particles like sand, silt, and rust, while allowing health-promoting minerals such as calcium and magnesium to pass through.
  • Activated Charcoal: Utilizes US-made coconut shell activated charcoal to remove chemicals and pollutants, improving water taste and odor.
  • Heavy Metal Removal: Incorporates a KDF filter to reduce heavy metals including lead, copper, arsenic, mercury, aluminum, and chlorine.
  • Alkaline Mineral Blend: Contains a stone and silica blend of over 10 different materials, including ORP Spheres, Alkaline, Tourmaline, Far Infrared, and Maifan Stones. This blend increases alkalinity (pH), decreases Oxidation-Reduction Potential (ORP), softens hard water, and adds trace elements and minerals.
  • Eco-Friendly Design: BPA-free and food-grade materials, certified by SGS and the Water Quality Association. Each filter can replace approximately 8300 plastic bottles.

2. Setup Instructions

Initial Filter Preparation:

  1. Unpack the PH001 filter from its packaging.
  2. Rinse the filter under cold tap water for 30 seconds to remove any loose carbon dust. This is normal for new filters.
  3. Submerge the filter in cold water for 15 minutes to allow it to fully saturate.

Installing the Filter:

  1. Ensure your pitcher or dispenser is clean and dry.
  2. Insert the prepared PH001 filter into the designated slot in your Invigorated Water pitcher or dispenser. Twist firmly to create a tight seal.
  3. If using the optional PH002 Ultrafiltration (UF) Membrane Filter, attach it to the PH001 filter as shown in the video below.

3. Operating Instructions

Filling the System:

  1. Open the lid of your pitcher or dispenser.
  2. Pour cold tap water into the top reservoir. Do not overfill past the maximum fill line.
  3. Allow the water to slowly filter through the PH001 filter into the main chamber. This process may take a few minutes.
  4. For the first 1-3 fillings, it is recommended to discard the filtered water or use it for watering plants, as some carbon dust may still be present.

Dispensing Water:

  • Once the water has filtered, it is ready for consumption.
  • For pitchers, simply pour water from the spout.
  • For dispensers, use the spigot to dispense water into your glass or bottle.

4. Maintenance

Filter Replacement:

The PH001 filter has a long life, filtering approximately 360 liters (95 gallons) of water. The actual lifespan depends on your water usage and water quality. Replace the filter when you notice a decrease in flow rate or a change in water taste.

Cleaning the System:

  • Regularly clean your pitcher or dispenser with mild soap and warm water.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or put the filter in a dishwasher.
  • Rinse all components thoroughly after cleaning.

5. Troubleshooting

Slow Water Flow:

  • Clogged Filter: The filter cartridge may be clogged. Check the filter life indicator (if available on your pitcher/dispenser) or consider replacing the filter.
  • Granule Settling: If the filter is not yet due for replacement, remove it and shake it vigorously to loosen the granules inside. This can improve water flow speed.

Bad Water Taste:

  • Dirty Water Tank: The water tank of your pitcher or dispenser might be dirty. Clean the dispenser thoroughly.
  • Improper Filter Installation: Ensure the filter cartridge is installed properly and securely according to the instructions. A loose seal can lead to unfiltered water.
  • Expired Filter: It may be time to replace the filter cartridge. An old filter can no longer effectively remove impurities, leading to poor taste.
