3. Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and any promotional stickers from the appliance.
2. Initial Cleaning: Wash the frying basket and grill rack with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
3. Placement: Place the air fryer on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is at least 10 cm of free space around the back and sides, and above the appliance for proper ventilation.
4. First Use (Burn-off): For the first use, it is recommended to run the air fryer empty for about 10-15 minutes at 180°C to eliminate any manufacturing odors. A slight smell or smoke may occur, which is normal. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.

4. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for safe and effective operation of your BRUNO Compact Air Fryer.

1. Prepare Food: Place your ingredients into the frying basket. For best results, do not overfill the basket. If using the grill rack, place it inside the basket before adding food.
2. Insert Basket: Slide the frying basket firmly back into the main unit until it clicks into place.
3. Power On: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The control panel will illuminate. Press the Power button to turn on the appliance.
4. Set Temperature: Use the Temperature control buttons (usually '+' and '-') to set the desired cooking temperature between 80°C and 200°C.
5. Set Timer: Use the Timer control buttons (usually '+' and '-') to set the desired cooking time.
6. Start Cooking: The air fryer will automatically start heating once temperature and time are set, or you may need to press a dedicated Start button if available.
7. Shake/Turn Food (Optional): For even cooking, some recipes require shaking or turning food halfway through the cooking process. Carefully pull out the basket, shake or turn the food, then reinsert the basket. The air fryer will resume cooking.
8. Completion: The air fryer will beep when the timer expires. Carefully pull out the basket.
9. Remove Food: Use heat-resistant tongs or utensils to remove cooked food from the basket. Do not tip the basket upside down as excess oil may drip onto the food.
10. Power Off: Press the Power button to turn off the appliance and unplug it from the wall outlet.
