Setup

1. Prepare the Sticky Board: Remove the protective layer from one of the circular sticky glue boards.
2. Insert Sticky Board: Separate the bottom tray from the main unit by twisting. Place the prepared sticky board into the bottom tray, ensuring the sticky side faces upwards. Reattach the bottom tray to the main unit by twisting until secure.
3. Connect Power: Connect the USB cable to the trap unit and then to the provided power supply adapter. Plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off: Press the button located on the top of the unit to turn the trap on or off. The UV light will illuminate when the unit is active.
2. Optimal Placement: For best results, place the trap in a dark room, away from other strong light sources, as insects are attracted to the brightest light. Position the trap near areas where pests are frequently observed, such as near fruits, plants, or garbage cans. An ideal height for placement is approximately 0.8-1.2 meters (about 3 feet) from the ground.
3. Continuous Operation: Allow the trap to operate continuously for at least 5 days to effectively reduce pest populations.

How it Works: Triple Capture Technology

The BANPESTT CPI-15 employs a three-pronged approach to pest control:

• UV Light Attraction: The 395nm UV light lures insects towards the trap.

Maintenance

1. Replacing Sticky Boards: Replace the sticky board when it is fully covered with insects or after approximately 4-6 weeks of use. Additional replacement sticky pads are available for purchase separately.
2. Cleaning the Unit: Regularly clean the mosquito trap to avoid unnecessary environmental pollution. This product is not waterproof. Do not wash it with water or other liquids. Instead, use the provided small brush to clean any trapped insects from the fan area and a damp cloth to wipe down the exterior.

Troubleshooting & Important Reminders

• Effectiveness: This product uses a physical mosquito killer method and takes time to show full effect. It is recommended to operate it for at least 2 hours in advance when used in a bedroom.
• Placement: Mosquitoes are sensitive to human body temperature, taste, and exhaled carbon dioxide. To avoid influencing the trap's effectiveness, keep the product away from people when in use.
• Light Conditions: In the daytime, please close doors, windows, and curtains to ensure optimal dark environmental conditions. Do not place it near air conditioners or electric fan sources. When using, turn off all other lights to ensure the trap's light is the only light source.
• Safety: Do not look directly at the mosquito killer lights for extended periods.
• Cleaning: Do not wash the lamp with water or other liquids.
• Operation: Do not put your hand into the mosquito killer lamp when it is operating to avoid damage or accidents.
