5. Setup and Installation

5.1 Mounting

The TM617 can be mounted on a wall or panel. Ensure a stable surface and adequate ventilation. Refer to the dimensional diagram for precise measurements.

5.2 Wiring Diagram

Connect the power supply and load according to the wiring diagram provided on the device or in the detailed product specifications. Ensure all connections are secure and insulated. Incorrect wiring can damage the device or cause electrical hazards.

• Input Power: Connect the 110V/220V AC power supply to the designated input terminals.
• Load Output: Connect the appliance or load to be controlled to the output terminals.

Note: The internal battery charges when the device is connected to power. Allow several hours for the battery to fully charge before initial programming if the device has been stored for a long period.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Button Functions

• P (Program): Enters or exits programming mode.
• D+ (Day): Adjusts day of the week in setting mode; selects day in program mode.
• H+ (Hour): Adjusts hour in setting mode; selects hour in program mode.
• M+ (Minute): Adjusts minute in setting mode; selects minute in program mode.
• C/R (Cancel/Recall): Resets current setting; recalls programs.
• Clock Icon (Set Time): Press to enter time setting mode.
• Manual Override Button (Hand Icon): Toggles between ON/AUTO/OFF modes.

6.2 Setting Current Time and Day

1. Press and hold the Clock Icon button.
2. While holding the Clock Icon, press D+ to set the current day of the week (MO, TU, WE, TH, FR, SA, SU).
3. While holding the Clock Icon, press H+ to set the current hour.
4. While holding the Clock Icon, press M+ to set the current minute.
5. Release the Clock Icon button to save the settings.

6.3 Programming ON/OFF Cycles

The TM617 supports up to 16 ON/OFF programs. Each program consists of an ON time and an OFF time.

1. Press the P button once. The display will show "1 ON".
2. Press D+ to select the day(s) for the first ON program (e.g., MO, TU, WE, TH, FR, SA, SU, or specific combinations).
3. Press H+ to set the hour for the first ON program.
4. Press M+ to set the minute for the first ON program.
5. Press the P button again. The display will show "1 OFF".
6. Repeat steps 2-4 to set the day(s), hour, and minute for the first OFF program.
7. Continue pressing P to cycle through "2 ON", "2 OFF", up to "16 ON", "16 OFF", setting each program as needed.
8. After setting all desired programs, press the Clock Icon button to exit programming mode and return to the current time display.

To clear a specific program, press C/R when that program is displayed in programming mode.

6.4 Manual Override

The manual override button (hand icon) allows you to temporarily or permanently change the output state without affecting programmed settings.

• Press the Manual Override button to cycle through modes:
• ON: Output is continuously ON, ignoring programs.
• AUTO: Output follows programmed ON/OFF cycles.
• OFF: Output is continuously OFF, ignoring programs.
• Select AUTO for normal operation based on your programmed schedule.

7. Maintenance

• Clean the device regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Ensure the device is kept free from dust and debris to maintain proper ventilation.
• The internal battery is designed for long life and typically does not require replacement. If the display becomes dim or settings are lost frequently, the battery may need servicing by a qualified technician.
