Important Safety Information

Setup

1. CO2 Cylinder Installation

1. Place the SodaStream ART on a flat, stable surface.
2. Remove the back cover of the sparkling water maker by pulling it away from the main unit.
3. Insert the SodaStream Quick Connect CO2 cylinder into the back slot. The cylinder should click into place without needing to be screwed in.
4. Replace the back cover, ensuring it snaps securely.

2. Bottle Insertion

1. Fill a SodaStream carbonating bottle with cold tap water up to the fill line. Pre-chilled water provides the best carbonation results.
2. Insert the carbonating bottle into the Snap & Lock mechanism by pushing it upwards and inwards until it clicks securely into place. No twisting is required.

Operating Instructions

1. Carbonating Water

1. Ensure the carbonating bottle is filled with plain water and securely locked into the machine.
2. Press the carbonation lever down firmly and hold for 1-2 seconds. Release and repeat.
3. Repeat 3-5 times for a medium fizz, or more for a stronger fizz. You will hear a distinct buzzing sound when the desired carbonation level is reached.
4. Once carbonation is complete, gently pull the bottle towards you to release it from the Snap & Lock mechanism.

2. Adding Flavors

Always add flavorings after carbonating your water. Never carbonate water with flavor already added.

1. After carbonating, remove the bottle from the machine.
2. Add your desired amount of SodaStream, Bubly, Pepsi, or other compatible flavor drops to the sparkling water.
3. Gently tilt the bottle to mix the flavor. Do not shake vigorously.
4. Serve and enjoy your customized sparkling beverage.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

• Wipe the exterior of the SodaStream ART with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the device in water.
• The carbonating bottles are dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. Ensure they are completely dry before reuse.

2. Bottle Care

• Always use SodaStream carbonating bottles. They are designed to withstand the pressure of carbonation.
• Do not use bottles that are scratched, discolored, or past their expiration date.
• Store bottles in a cool, dry place when not in use.

Troubleshooting

• No Fizz or Weak Fizz: Ensure the CO2 cylinder is properly installed and not empty. Make sure the carbonating bottle is filled with cold water and securely locked. Press the carbonation lever firmly for 1-2 seconds, repeating 3-5 times.
• Water Overflowing: Do not carbonate water with flavor added. Ensure the bottle is filled only to the fill line. Press the carbonation lever in short, firm bursts rather than one long press.
• Difficulty Inserting/Removing Bottle: Ensure the Snap & Lock mechanism is clean and free of debris. Push the bottle firmly upwards and inwards until it clicks. To remove, gently pull the bottle towards you.
