1. Introduction
This manual provides instructions for the safe and efficient use of your SodaStream Art Sparkling Water Maker. The SodaStream Art allows you to transform ordinary tap water into fresh sparkling water. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the device and retain it for future reference.
2. Important Safety Information
- Always use cold water for carbonation.
- Never carbonate anything other than plain water. Adding flavors before carbonation can damage the machine and cause injury.
- Do not carbonate water in a bottle that is damaged, deformed, or past its expiration date.
- Only use genuine SodaStream Quick Connect CO2 cylinders and SodaStream carbonating bottles.
- Keep the appliance away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water.
- Ensure the appliance is placed on a flat, stable surface during use.
- Keep out of reach of children.
3. Package Contents
Your SodaStream Art Sparkling Water Maker package includes:
- SodaStream Art Sparkling Water Maker unit
- One 60L SodaStream Quick Connect CO2 Cylinder
- One 1-liter Dishwasher Safe SodaStream Carbonating Bottle

4. Setup
4.1 Installing the CO2 Cylinder
- Place the SodaStream Art on a flat, stable surface.
- Remove the back cover of the sparkling water maker by pulling it away from the unit.
- Insert the SodaStream Quick Connect CO2 cylinder into the back slot. The cylinder should click into place. Ensure it is securely seated.
- Replace the back cover by pushing it back onto the unit until it snaps into place.

4.2 Inserting the Carbonating Bottle
- Fill the SodaStream carbonating bottle with cold tap water up to the fill line.
- Pull the bottle rest towards you.
- Insert the carbonating bottle into the Snap & Lock mechanism, pushing it up and back until it locks securely into place. The bottle should not be able to be pulled out without pulling the bottle rest forward again.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Carbonating Water
- Ensure the carbonating bottle is filled with cold water and securely inserted into the machine.
- Press the carbonating lever down firmly for 1-2 seconds, then release. Repeat 3-5 times for standard carbonation, or more for stronger fizz.
- You will hear a distinct buzzing sound when the carbonation process is complete.
- Once carbonation is complete, gently pull the bottle rest forward to release the bottle.

5.2 Adding Flavors
After carbonating your water, you can add SodaStream flavorings or other concentrates. Never add flavors before carbonating.
- Pour the desired amount of flavoring into the carbonated water.
- Gently tilt the bottle to mix the flavor. Do not shake.
- Serve and enjoy.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
6.1 Cleaning the Carbonating Bottle
The included 1-liter carbonating bottle is dishwasher safe. Alternatively, wash by hand with lukewarm water and a mild dish soap. Do not use abrasive cleaners or brushes.

6.2 Cleaning the Sparkling Water Maker
Wipe the exterior of the SodaStream Art with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Do not immerse the machine in water.
7. Troubleshooting
